Adin and I walked out of the apartment complex and down the street. It was kind of awkward since I have never seen or met this man in my entire life and BOOM breakfast date. WTF. We walked up to this cool little "healthy" breakfast place down by the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
We walked inside and looked over the menu.
"You see anything you want," Adin asked examining the menu on the wall.

"The banana peanut butter protein pancakes sound pretty good with water and almond milk," I shrugged.

"I didn't even see that. Raspberry chocolate protein waffles sound more up my ally today," Adin looked at me. Our eyes locked and we both smiled at each other.

"Anyways," I cleared my throat and looked away. Adin ordered his food and then ordered mine. I was little impressed with that. He ushered us to this little table and pulled my chair out for me. I sat down and he sat across from me.

"Okay Adin," I said narrowing my eyes at him examining his face. "What's your game?"

"My game? I just saw an extremely beautiful girl today and just wanted to get to know her more," he shrugged and took a drink of coffee.

"Really? Why's that," I leaned my cheek on the palm of my hand. I was always skeptical about random men taking me out on dates, but I mean this one is free breakfast and he was something good to look at. Maybe he's being genuine to me?

"Firstly any girl that works out as hard as you do is great to me. Secondly your workout playlist is basically a carbon copy of my own and I think that is kind of rare to find," Adin grinned at me. I couldn't tell if this was a trick or something so let's just roll with it.

"I mean I do workout kind of hard for being a little lady," I chuckled. "Also if you listen to half the songs that are on my playlist then I think you deserve a chance."

"I hope," I smiled. Our food came to the table and we ate in silence. I finished my pancakes before he finished his waffles. After eating and talking a little bit more about our music and what we do for a living, we decided to walk back to our apartments.

"I can't believe that you're best friends with Lance Stewart," I laughed. "He's a really funny guy online and I completely didn't even remember you from his videos."

"Wow! I can't believe you don't remember me from them," Adin put his hand on his chest acting like he was upset.

"I don't think I'll forget you now if that makes you feel better," I nudged his arm with my own.

"Well I probably won't forget the only girl that can eat faster than I can without getting a stomach ache," Adin laughed and threw his head back. "No offense. It's just impressive."

"Wait til Pizza Friday's. You wanna see a 5'4 girl put away a large pizza, just let me know." I giggled and glanced over to catch him starring at me. "What? Is there something on me?"

"No I'm just trying to figure out how the fuck you can eat a whole large pizza," he smirked.

"Friday let's get pizza then so you can see for yourself," I smirked back at him. Holy shit did I really just ask him out on a date. Fuck.

"Miss Lauren did you just ask me out for pizza. This is all too fast my goodness," he threw his hands up in the air. I gave him the best poker face ever masking that I was mortified. "I'M JUST KIDDING! I'd love to watch someone your size eat a whole pizza as long as I can get my own."

"You got if," I winked at him. We got into the apartment complex and Adin held the door open for me. Such a gentleman. He hit the 4 button inside the elevator and I hit the 7 button on it as well.

"Wow 7th floor. Your apartment must be nice," he made a face. "Mine is just a little one bedroom."

"I've got a two bedroom. Master for me and the second one is my guest room slash recording slash writing area," I smiled proudly. I actually recorded songs and voice overs for cartoons. I was starting to get picked up more for animation shows and I'm working on a movie deal with DreamWorks.

"That's impressive," he smirked. "I sing a little so I mean."

"Are you hinting that you'd want to record," I raised an eyebrow at him.

"I mean well," Adin trailed off.

"Lets see how Friday goes first. If you're worthy enough then you can record," I smiled and the elevator beeped for Adin's floor.

"Well this is me. Lauren it was a pleasure," he gave me a grin and left the elevator. The doors started to close until his hand was almost smashed by the doors. "Actually I was wondering if I could get your number so this whole pizza thing can actually happen," Adin smiled.

I gave him my number and then he went about his day. The elevator went up to my floor and I walked down the hallway to my apartment. Well such an interesting morning for a Tuesday. Maybe this could become something, maybe. Just try to stay a friend, work is way too important at this time to have any type of relationship. I threw myself on my couch and sighed. Alright. I guess it's time to get to work.
