Connor Murphy was pissed. He did not want to go to school the next day. Dealing with his family was already enough, why does he need to go to school?
Connor walked in the park with his earbuds in his ears listening to his favorite band. The music was a good way to get Connors mind off of school and his family. After walking in the park for a while, Connor finally found a good place to settle down, under a nice tree.

Connor went inside his satchel and grabbed the weed in his bag. The park was the only place he could smoke without his family knowing. He took out a lighter and lit the weed, then put it in his mouth. Inhale, exhale. He felt relaxed. He sat under the tree and tilted his head back.

Evan looked down to see that a man was sitting right were Evan needed to climb down.

"Crap, how am I supposed to get down now?"

Evan thought and started to panic, he didn't want to be in that tree anymore, he wanted to be at home were he was alone and he could just relax and be himself. But now there's this guy under his tree.

"Ok Evan Hansen" he said in his head, "you can get down" Evan slowly started to climb to the other side of the tree so when he got down he could just run home and forget that guy under the tree. Evan climbed branch after branch until,

*Ring Ring

Evan panicked and as he held onto the tree branch with one hand, he went in his pocket to grab his phone.

*Ring Ring

Evan looked at his phone to see that the screen was black.
Just then the man started to talk under him
"What do you want" said the mans voice, Evan listened to the call

"Why would you even care?"

"I don't care if there's school tomorrow!"

"Fuck you Zoe!"

There was a beep, the call ended.
Evans heart pounded so hard that he could hear it,

"Zoe, Zoe Murphy" was all he could think.

Then he suddenly realized that, that man figure, was Zoe's brother,

Connor Murphy.

Before Evan could move, the branch he was standing on cracked. The branch snapped and Evan felt himself falling until,

Everything went black.
