aNOtHeR Night at Mark's

It was Friday evening and Mark was going to pick up Jackson. He was a little late due to picking out clothes and piling on cologne. He thought he looked pretty damn hawt. (He always looks like that tho)

Jackson texted Mark earlier, letting him know to meet him halfway between their houses. Jackson's parents didn't know the two were in a relationship, and Mark didn't expect them to anytime soon.

Mark was distracted, scrolling through his phone, when he bumped into someone on the sidewalk. Who else could it be but Jackson? They exchanged a greeting, then went on their way to Mark's house. Luckily his parents weren't home. Every Friday night they go out and spend time together. That was something Mark envied about his parents; they loved each other to bits. He wanted that kind of love.

When they arrived at their destination, Mark's parents opened the door, ready to leave. He thought they had left already.

"Oh hi Jackson! I didn't know you were having your friend over, Mark. Are you two going to work on your project again?" She asked, her warm and friendly smile spread across her face.

"Er.. Yeah. We're almost done, but we wanna get a few things out of the way before the presentation next week."

"Alright. Well have fun you two!"

Mark's dad nodded at the boys and the older couple hopped in the car. They waved them goodbye as the car drove off.

Their night was quite eventful. They tried making food for themselves, but burnt it due to them singing and dancing together. They ordered Chinese food and boba instead.

They played board games and ate for about an hour, then put on a movie.

"As Above So Below?" Asked Mark. The life drained from Jackson's face.

"Uh... Maybe not."

"Why? Are you scared?" Mark laughed.

"No of course not. I'm just worried about you." Jackson puffed out his chest and sat up straight.

During the movie, Jackson was clenching the pink stuffed bear he had won for Mark and the blanket they were sharing. Mark constantly had to pull the blanket towards him every minute or so. Anytime something scary happened, Jackson reacted in the most extra way possible. Each time it was different. He'd either jump up a bit or let out a little squeal. By the end of the movie, Mark was left without any blanket and there were less than none of the gummy bears left. Jackson had been nervously gnawing on them the whole time.

They went on Instagram and looked at pictures posted by celebrities. They awed at the wonderful life they lived. What would it be like? Getting everything you want without hesitation?

Mark's parents came back home after about three hours. Outside, Jackson and Mark shared their second kiss. It was just as magical that time as it was the first.

I'm so sorry this was so short. I didn't really have any ideas on what to write. I've been really focused on school lately and I just haven't really had the time to publish any new chapters. I might slow down a bit or the chapters might get a little boring, and I apologize for that. I'll try to get as much done as possible and make this story enjoyable to read. ALSO I published my Jungkook x Reader fanfic! So I'd really appreciate it if you went and checked it out.

AND TODAY WAS MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!
