Lucy was a 17 year old girl, and like other girls her age she is young, depressed and boy band obsessed. Lucy has self harmed since the age of 14 but she has never told anyone, only her best friend James, who happened to be best friends and band mates with Connor, the one she's madly in love with....

Lucy's p.o.v

"Hurry up we're going to be late" I yelled James to get a move on, I swear that boy takes more pride in his appearance than I do! James had been my best friend since junior school, we both got bullied and then sort of clicked from there, he's my rock and I don't know what I'd do with out him. No we are not together and no we never will be, he has a girlfriend, Tash, and we're too close to ever be together like that. But James is in a band, so you know he's always busy, but he always manages to make time for me. James was the only one who actually knew everything about me, I guess he's the only one I trust. We litereally tell each other everything, James took me to nearly all his bands practices which is nice I suppose, the boys are really nice to me and Brads like my big brother. The only problem is Connor, i am head over heals in love with this boy, we get on really well but everytime we're left alone together I never know what to do, James keeps telling me he likes me but why would he? I'm a fucked up kinda kid.

"Shut up I'm coming now!" and surely enough James ran downstairs jumping on my back "come on then luce, we'll be late to practise!" james winked at me, pushing me out of our flat and locking the door behind us.

"WE ARE NEVER EVER EVER GETTING BACK TOGETHER WEEEEE ARE NEVER EVER GETTING BACK TOGETHER" if you haven't already guessed Taylor Swift come on the radio and James being James and a massive fan burst out singing, he was such an idiot but i couldn't stop laughing at him. As we pulled up outside Con's and I got out of the car i turned around to be greeted with a massive hug, i knew straight away who it was, Connor. He was small but taller than me, and his scent was familliar, hello heart papitations

"HI LUCE!" he shouted at me releasing me from the hug.

"Hi Connor" I giggled back at him.

"I want to show you something, come with me" con took my hand, I got butterflies like the really really nervous type, where was he taking me?

His room, shit, what if I have like some sort of freak out. "Con why are we in here, what did you want to show me?" and that's when It happened, he kissed me, and with out hesitation I kissed him back. Maybe James was right, maybe he did like me back. "James told me you liked me and I guess I just wanted to tell you I liked you too I just didn't know how so I thought I'd tell you like that" he went bright red, but to be honest so did I. After a while we'd been kissing for what seemed like hours, until James shouted us.

"Luce? Connor?" Always ruining my moments, feck. We both shot up and just looked like we were chatting.

"Come on con, practise is starting now, wait are you guys together?" I looked at Connor, were we together? I don't know oh god.

"I don't know, I mean, yeah?" con looked at me and smiled, "yeah" I smiled back.

James' p.o.v

Lucy yelled up to me to hurry up, I could tell I was winding her up but it's funny because she always forgives me. I'd been friends with Luce for as long as I can remember, we both got bullied in year 9/10 and that's when we got close, it's also when it all started for Lucy. We were both picked on for different things but Luce got it worse, the names she got called were vile, slag, slut, whore, bitch, tart. Lucy wasn't any of those but as soon as one person was saying it the whole school was, and that's when I found her, in her room in a state, she'd cut. She told me she didn't mean to but she still did it. She insists she's fine but I can read her like a book. Lucy really liked Connor and I really think he'd be good for her, she needs someone else, I'll always be here for her but I have got a girlfriend, Tash, she gets on really well with Lucy which is good and she doesn't worry about the fact were so close. "Shut up I'm coming now!" I yelled down and jumped on her back forcing her out of our door "come on Luce, we'll be late for practise!" I winked at her and shut the door. I took Lucy nearly everywhere with me, I was just worried to leave her incase anything really bad ever happened to her, I couldn't lose her.

As we got out of the car at con's he ran up to luce and give her a massive hug, honestly I ship them so hard! I heard him talking and he said he wanted to show her something...

What if he does it now?! What if they get together? I don't want to miss it! But he's got to do it on his own so I left them and went to see Tash who was already here. I went to give her a kiss and then we sat on cons sofa for a bit and had a catch up.

"How's Lucy?" Tash didn't know exactly what was wrong with her but she knew she wasn't well.

"We're getting there, it's just going to take a little bit more time than I thought, I know you two are close but I think it'd do her good if you came round a few more times just to see her?"

"Yeah course I will!" Me and Tash had been together about a year and as much as I trust her I could never tell her about Lucy. I promised.

It was time to start so I went upstairs to find con and Luce when I heard a bang followed by laughter.

"Luce? Con?" another bang, so I stormed in to Con's room and they were just chatting, but it was clear they'd been doing more than just chatting. "Come on Con, practise is starting now, wait are you guys together?" I looked a Lucy and she just looked at Connor,

"I don't know, I mean, yeah?" He looked at her

"Yeah" she replied.

"Awww guys!" I was such a girl, but I was happy, Luce really needed someone like Con in her life, I don't know If she'll want to tell him everything just yet but she needs his help.
