Chapter 11; the photo

Tris's p.o.v

Shit. Shit. Shit. I really like Tash, I mean I've always had a kind of soft spot for her but I can't get over that kiss, it probably meant nothing to her but she didn't bother pulling away? Did she enjoy it too? Ugh, I need to see her.

To: Tash

Hiya tashhhaaaa, you busy today?x

I went in the shower and left my phone hoping she'd have replied by the time I was finished. I hopped out of he shower and wrapped a towel round my torso and one round my hair, then made my way over to my phone. Thankfully she'd actually replied.

From: Tash

Hiya trissaaaay, nah I'm free what's up?x

To: Tash

Cool, nothing's up:-) fancy meeting me at Starbucks for a drink or something, need to get out for a bit x

Smooth Tris, you've got dis. She replied pretty much straight away saying she'd love to meet up! I was shocked but maybe she liked me too.

James's p.o.v.

"James are you up?" Tash yelled from downstairs, when did she get up?

"Yeah why?"

"I'm going out with Tr.. A friend, I'll text you when I'm on my way home, love you!"

"Love you too..." I trailed off noticing she had already left the house.

It sort of worried me that she had to stop her self from saying what she was going to say, all I got was a 'tr' wait. Tris, what if she's meeting tris? Oh fucking hell she's meeting tris, I knew he liked her, I could tell from the way he kissed her that night at brads. I'd usually talk to Tris about stuff like this but he's probably preoccupied fucking my girlfriend. I hate thinking of Tash like that but I know what Tris is like, I dunno. Luce will know what to do.

To: Lucy

Luce I really need to talk to you, come round when you're free please, don't bring con x

To: Lucy

Scrap that, I need to see you today as soon as you can x

She didn't reply but I figured she'd be out with Connor and she'd come round when she was free, Luce wouldn't ignore me like that. I decided to take a shower then a nap to try and clear my head and I guess it worked until a the door slamming made me shoot up.

"Tash you said you'd text me when you were on your way home?" I question walking down stairs only to see it wasn't Tash, it was Lucy. I forgot she actually lived here, I ran to her and pulled her into a long, tight hug.

"What's up then jems?" she asked

I sighed and lead her to the sofa where we sat cross legged face to face.

"I don't know, I think Tash is cheating on me" she looked down as if she knew what I was on about.

"I saw them leaving Starbucks earlier" I don't know why but I felt massive wave of relief pass through me, at least I know they weren't sleeping together.

"She said that if I asked you'd know she was with Tris, did you?"

"When she left this morning she said 'I'm going out with Tr.. A friend' it took me a while but I caught on guessing she'd be with Tris and I kind of thought the worst of it" I sighed as she took my hands in hers.

"Look, I don't think Tash would cheat on you, I really do think they were just having a coffee and she didn't want to tell you she was with him incase you thought she was actually cheating. She's a nice girl and she really does love you, I'm sure you'll be fine" Luce squeezed my hands and smiled at me as I hugged her again.

"Thank you Luce, you're the best friend ever, I love you" I kissed her forehead

"Love you too Jems" she giggled.

Wow she seems awfully happy. I mean it's good Lucy's happy and I know she has been happier since she's had Con but this was a different happy.

"Come on then, why so happy?" I nudged her and she went bright red.

"LUCY WHITE YOU DID NOT?!"

"Oopsies" she giggled and ran off, sassy lil devil.

"Luce I expected you'd tell me something like this" I tried to sound disappointed but I was happy for her? I don't know. She slowly came out of the room and smiled at me.

"I wanted to, it's just a little cringey talking about it" she hid her face in her hands and started giggling.

"I get it, wow, just promise me there will be no baby Ball on the way?"

"I promise Jems"

I spent all that afternoon with Luce until Con came to pick her up at around 7ish.

"Condor" I nodded at him

"Jems" he nodded back

We both started laughing and Luce came out of the bathroom giving me a hug before leaving.

"See you in a few days Jamesy"

"See you in a bit lucifer"

"Lucifer?" She burst out laughing

"Yes now get out" I pushed them both out of the door and went and sat down waiting for Tash to come back.

Connors p.o.v

When Luce left I decided to go back home and tidy up a bit, I did my room first as it was the messiest room in the house, I blame Lucy and all her girly stuff. I picked up all my rubbish and put it away, I didn't really want to touch Luce's stuff, privacy and all but I figured while I was tidying it wouldn't hurt to move her stuff out of the way. I picked her bag up and a few things fell out, don't get me wrong I'm not nosey and I think going through people's bags is wrong so I put everything back apart from a photo that fell out, it was of Lucy and brad. Why does she have a photo of her and Brad but not of us two? I clenched my fists shoved the photo in my pocket and begun my walk to pick her up. I didn't want to argue but after everything she's actually carrying around a photo of her and Brad, it was genuinely making me feel sick, what if she's cheating on me? Fucking Brad of all people.

He always ruins everything doesn't he, why can't he accept the fact that I'm happy with Lucy and she's happy with me. Well I think she is, I just don't know anymore but I need to find out..
