Chapter Fourteen

LaTavia

Liyah and I went and got our nails and feet done, saw a drive in movie and ate ice cream. I checked the time in the car the clock read 6:45 and I turned on my phone and saw a text message from August that read

"My plane gonna be landing at Seven-Thirty"

I got on the highway and I started to drive

"Mommy where are we going?"

"To pick up mommy's friend August"

"Yay! I like him mommy he's nice" Aliyah said looking out the window

"Me too baby me too"

20 minutes later I parked the car and I walked inside and waited at the baggage claim for August. Aliyah sat on my lap I looked at my phone and it has shown seven thirty And the bags started coming out and on to the conveyor belt.

"Mommy I see him!" Aliyah hopped off my lap and ran towards him and I speed walked after her. August scooped her up in his arms and kissed her cheek, I looked at him and smiled. August had his hood on his head his jacket zipped up with some sweat pants and some Jordan's

"You ain't gonna give me a hug friend?"

I giggled wrapping my arms around his neck and he used his free arm to wrap around my waist pulling me towards him. I pecked on his neck he groaned and looked at me I smiled innocently and pulled away .

Aliyah laid her head down on August's chest 

"Liyah, baby girl I gotta put you down I gotta get my luggage"

Aliyah lip started to quiver and she started crying, gripping on August's hoodie jacket

"Aliyah!" I hissed

I reached for Aliyah and August  stepped back

"I got her Ma"

August  manager brought  over his suitcases and walked off with i'm guessing  his wife

"Why you crying lil' mama?"

Aliyah sniffed

"I don't  know I just  don't want you to put me down"

I kissed her cheek

"You like me?"

Aliyah nodded and kissed my cheek

"Yeah I like you too Liyah.."

I glanced over at LaTavia sitting on the bench

"You excited to go to your dad's tomorrow?"

"Kinda.. I wanna stay with you and mommy"

"But you have to stay with your dad to get to know him better Liyah.."

Aliyah wiped her eyes and played with my gold chain

"You like this Liyah?"

She nodded

"Mommy used to have one but it broke and I outgrown mine"

"Tell you what baby girl if your dad takes you shopping tomorrow and tells you, you can't have this no matter the cost I'll buy it and I'll buy you and mommy some gold chains on Sunday okay?"

"Okay will you be in the car with mommy when she picks me up on S-Sunday?"

I nodded

I grabbed my luggage and walked out the airport and put my bags in the trunk gazing up at the night sky LaTavia tugged on my jacket

"C'mon August the paps is coming" She said getting in the driver's seat

I got in on the passenger seat as people with cameras came running out LaTavia sped down the street making a sharp left

"Mommy is August staying at our house?"

"Only if he wants to Liyah.."

"Yeah baby girl I'm staying"  I said

Thirty minutes later

Aliyah was knocked out sleep in the backseat LaTavia unbuckled her and picked her up and  I grabbed my luggage following her inside..I sat down my luggage and sat on the sofa..LaTavia walked back in the living room and I pulled her on to my lap

"I've missed you.." I mumbled

"I missed you too" She said getting up and pulling me up with her

We ended up in her room. LaTavia took off her sandals and unzipped her romper leaving her in black lace under garments

"Lay down" I instructed

She laid down on her stomach I took off my T-Shirt grabbing the baby oil I poured some on her back unclipping her bra I began to massage her, groans escaped her mouth as I continued to work out her joints my hands massaged the upper part of her back and down to her hips I left tiny kisses down her spine and I began to trace my fingers over her back and I began to massage her again she groaned in satisfaction I poured more baby oil on her back and massaged it in to her skin

"Can I ask you a question baby?" I asked rubbing my hands up and down. her back

"Hmm?"

"Have you ever slept with Duhwayne since we've been fooling around?"

"No. I haven't why you ask me that?"

"I'm just asking..Do you plan on it?"

"August stop it! I'm only sleeping with you"

Her muscles tensed up underneath my finger tips

I began massaging her back again and she rolled over and kissed me and I laid down on top of her kissing her back, she pulled away a bit and my tongue entered in her mouth I gripped on her hips she sucked on my tongue before pulling away

"Damn" I mumbled under my breath and LaTavia looked at me and giggled and she wrapped her arms around my neck

"I'm tired"

"Then sleep" LaTavia said running her fingers through my curls

I got up off her and she got up off the bed and I slid underneath the covers and looked at the Tv LaTavia  came back with her bonnet on a large T-shirt on and laid next to me on the bed

"I like that bonnet color.."

"If you being funny shut up"

I chuckled pulling her close to me and Inhaling her perfume and we drifted off to sleep

sometime about 1:30 in the morning

I felt some hands like tapping on my arm I opened my eyes and looked over and saw Aliyah with her stuffed animals with tears in her eyes, she reminded me of my nieces especially Kay she used to have nightmares and slept in the bed with me.

I sat up

"Liyah baby girl what's wrong? "

"I had a bad dream can you sleep in the bed with me?"

I looked at LaTavia sleeping on my chest and I slid her off me  And I picked up liyah

I opened her door and saw her room toy chest in the corner the Tv was on I slid in the bed with Aliyah and laid down with her she laid on my chest and she yawned

"Goodnight daddy" she yawned closing her eyes

"Goodnight baby girl" I said kissing her forehead

after she dosed off I held her and her calling me daddy echoed in my mind I dosed off myself.
