Chapter 10

Meanwhile...

Inside Queen Nakia's castle, Nakia is currently brewing another plan to kill Alexandria together with a man who is always by his side serving her. He has long silver hair and a handsome face. His name is Urhi Shalma. A man who is fully devoted on Queen Nakia and Prince Juddah. He is also the right hand man of Nakia.

Another person is currently kneeling in front of Nakia. He has an ugly contenance. With his crooked nose, large eyes thick lips and a body full of muscles, no woman would be able to take a fancy on him. He is wearing a tribe's men clothing and a bandana that seems like it is made of human skin. If Alexandria was able to see this man, she would immediately recognize him. He is the leader of their abductors. And most probably, Tito's killer. He is Zuwa of the Kashga plan.

Nakia's POV

Infuriated by Prince Kail meddling in her affairs. She started to make plans on killing Alexandria.

"Zuwa, instruct your clan to attack Arinna. And I will suggest to his majesty to send Kail to lead troops to stop your invasion. If he leaves, that girl will no longer have the protection of Kail and we will be free to kill her anytime." She instructed.

"But your highness, what if Prince Kail take that girl along with him?" Urhi asked.

"To the battlefield? She would be a burden. But if that happened, we could kill two birds with one stone. The Kashga could have her neck in the midst of the battlefield. And then Kail would be distracted and unprepared. Therefore, they could get rid of Kail too. Hahahaha!"

Zuwa and Urhi smirked as well. Impressed by their Queen's viciousness.

End of POV

Third person's POV

In Kail's castle, ever since the death of Tito, Alexandria never leave her room. Her meals was being delivered in her room. Aside from her odd commands, no one was able to talk to her. Not even Kail. One time she asked for a set of medical needles. Then another time, it was to send her different types of herbs and flowers as well as its roots.

Although Kail was worried at Alexandria, he knew that she needs time to digest everything. So he just let Alexandria do what she wants. And even ordered people to just follow her commands. Ilbani was trying to look for an opportunity to apologize to Alexandria but given the current situation, he found himself helpless. He really regret the thing he did. If he didn't open his mouth then things wouldn't turn out this way.

One day an imperial edict arrived at Kail's castle, summoning him to go to the emperor's palace.

Kail learned about the Kashga's attacked at Arinna and was asked to lead the troops to prevent their invasion. Arinna can't befall to the hands of Kashga because it is their primary supplier of weapons for the kingdom's army.

Upon hearing that Kail was summoned by the king, Alexandria emerge from her room and waited for Kail.

When Kail returned from the royal palace, he discussed with everybody the reason why he was summoned.

"The Kashga clan attacked Arinna?" Kikkuri can't helped but exclaim upon hearing the reason why Kail was summoned by the king.

"That's right! A short while ago, a notice was delivered to the royal palace. It seems a few of the gates have already been destroyed." Kail answered Kikkuri.

"Arinna?" Alexandria frowned.

" It's a city like this one. There is an important temple there." Ilbani explained. 

"But, we defeated the Kashga last year. They shouldn't have enough army to take down Arinna." Kikkuri exclaimed once again.

"Exactly! 'Someone' is probably helping them secretly." Kail uttered. Suspicions laced in his tone.
