ARIADNE's POV

"Ready?" Zayn asked, holding the sketchpad against his chest.

"Is it that bad?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.

"It's quite good, actually," Louis said, looking over Zayn's shoulder.

I sighed. If he's drawn me as some hideous swamp-monster he was gonna get it. "Just let me see."

Zayn bit his lip and turned the pad around slowly.

"It looks like me, kind of... if you tilt your head like this... and close you're eyes..." I said.

"It looks exactly like you!" Harry said. "What's wrong with it?" he looked back and forth between the picture and me.

"For one, my boobs are not that massive," I said, hitting Zayn on the arm and he grinned at me. "And secondly, my hair is only half way down my back, not half way down my legs."

Zayn shrugged. "I like to improvise," he said with a cheeky smirk. I rolled my eyes. "I can re-do you if you want." I bit my tongue so I didn't laugh at how dirty that sounded.

"No! Don't! I love it," I said quickly, hugging him and snatching the sketch pad off him.

"Now you draw us," he said.

"But I'm talentless," I stated bluntly. The boys laughed. I knew I was on my own here. Anne, Gemma, Forrest and the kids left a few hours ago, so I didn't even have them here to back me up.

Zayn waved the sharpie under my nose and I snatched it from him. "Just don't laugh, okay?"

I didn't even bother trying, it wouldn't make much difference really. I drew five stick figures standing side by side. One had a quiff- Zayn, the next one had a fringe- Louis, the next had squiggly hair- Harry, the next had a few sticking up bits- Niall, and the last had curly hair, shorter than Harry's- Liam. I also drew a line underneath them as the floor and a sun in the sky.

I held it up to show them and they laughed anyway. "Don't we get faces?" Liam laughed.

I turned my picture around to look at it again and laughed. "I knew I forgot something, I just couldn't put my finger on what it was."

"Even the sun got a face!" Louis cried and I laughed again.

Zayn tore the picture carefully out of the sketch pad and hung it on the fridge with a magnet. "Aw! I feel like a little kid again!" I said happily.

We all squeezed out of the kitchen door and collapsed in a heap on the lounge room floor. "I'm too lazy to get up," I announced.

"Same," Elle said, rolling onto her back next to me.

"Sandwich!" Louis announced, laying across us. Everyone took that as an invitation to jump on top of him, effectively crushing both Eleanor and I into the carpet.

I turned my head to look at her with great effort. "I think I'm gonna die," I groaned.

"I know. They're all so fat."

"I am not fat!" Louis said, jumping off us and tipping all the other boys off his back. For a moment I felt weightless, like gravity was non-existent but then someone sat on my stomach.

"Leeeeeyumm get offfffff!" I whined, closing my eyes.

"But we had to talk to you about something important," he said, mimicking my tone and annoyingly poking my face with both his hands. I slapped them away.

"I didn't do it. Unless it was good..." I added.

He snorted. "You're not in trouble, idiot. We have a deal to make with you."

"Should I be scared?"

"Terrified!" he shouted.

I raised my eyebrows. "Okay, who spiked his drink?"

Niall laughed. "He's just in a good mood because Dani's coming home soon."

"When?" I asked with a smile at how Liam's face lit up.

"Next week!" he grinned, picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder.

"I'm wearing a dress you dummie! Put me down!" I shouted, covering my bum with me hands.

"Never!" he shouted, before dumping me on the couch, effectively contradicting himself.

"What did you have to talk to me about?" I said, when everyone else joined us on the chairs.

"We want you to sing for Simon," Harry said.

"Oh hell no," I said, climbing over the back of the couch and ducking behind it, out of sight. What? I'm in a weird mood.

"We filmed you singing to Blaise," Zayn said. My head popped back up over the couch to glare at them.

"You can't take that to him because it's not an original, and that wasn't my best singing," I said.

"We'll wait until you song one of your own songs again and then we'll film you!" Niall said.

"I'll just never sing again. Simple. As. That," I said, snapping my fingers in a Z formation.

"I never heard your song. I wanna hear it!" Zayn said, poking my arm.

"That is a trick! You're trying to trick me!" I accused. He shrugged and grinned. "Traitor!" I hissed.

I don't want to go to Simon with my songs. What if the guys are only saying I sing well to be nice? I personally don't like my singing voice, I just like the sound of music. Simon probably wouldn't even like my music anyway, so it would be a huge waste of everyone's time.

"Please? For us?" Louis pouted, shoving his face really close to mine, and I blushed. This boy has no respect for personal space.

"I'll think about it," I lied with a sigh. "Let's just watch a movie."

"Toy Story!" Liam yelled, diving at the DVD cabinet. Oh my God, I'm surrounded by children. Except Eleanor, she seems fairly normal. I think...

The menu came up and I flicked the lights off. Pulling a huge blanket over us all, we huddled on the couch. I was squished in the very middle, between Harry and Louis. Eleanor was on Louis other side and Zayn was next to her. Liam and Niall were on Harry's other side.

The boy next to me elbowed me accidentally.

"Sorry," he said quietly in my ear. Liam hated when people spoke through Toy Story, so it was whisper or get hit.

I felt my face heat up. Oh no. "Th-that's okay," I stuttered back. No, no, no. What am I doing?

The butterflies in my stomach intensified when I thought about the close proximity between us.

No, no, no, no! I know this feeling well and I do not like it one bit.

No, no, no. I can't do this. I seriously can not do this. Uh-Oh.

I can't like him.
