Liza could feel the after-effects of her panic attack settling in, her heart still hammering in her chest and her hands still shaking. But she had to get it together, she had to go into the Abattoir. Her friends could be in danger, Rebekah could be in danger.
Getting out of the car, Liza steeled herself as she entered the Abattoir. Walking into the courtyard, all eyes turned to her, and besides from Klaus and the other Liza, the imposter, looked shocked. Liza stood tall, clenching her hands into fists to hide the shaking. She had all the same wounds as the imposter had, including the wrapped wound on her abdomen were she was cut, leaving a rather deep and bloody mark behind. It wasn't deep enough to be life-threatening, but it hurt like a bitch.
"What the hell?" Rebekah blurted out, looking back and forth quickly between the two women who looked exactly the same.
"Rebekah, get away from her," Liza called seriously, eyes trained on the blonde. The imposter stood, grabbing Rebekah's hand, which made Liza's blood boil.
"Bekah, no, don't. It's a trap, I don't know who she is." Klaus stared between the two women from the sidelines, trying to decipher who was real and who wasn't. He knew his best friend, and he wasn't going to let someone, or something, else make a fool out of him.
"Rebekah, please, I know you can tell that it's me. I'm here, right here. I came home, alright? I came back to you." Rebekah's eyes softened as she looked at Liza, but there was still that glimmer of uncertainty. The imposter stepped in front of Rebekah, making her stare directly into her eyes.
"It's Elizabeth, okay? I'm here." She said more sternly, aggressively. Rebekah furrowed her eyebrows, before looking over the imposters shoulder at Liza.
"It's ya girl, Liza," Liza said weakly, not sure what to do now. Something sparked in Rebekah's eyes, before she looked at the imposter, narrowing her eyes. Suddenly, Rebekah grabbed the imposter roughly by the thrust, almost snarling at her.
"You are not Elizabeth." Rebekah growled out, digging her nails into the imposters neck. "She would never refer to herself as Elizabeth, she never has." The imposter flailed, her hands pulling at Rebekah's arm in an attempt to free herself. Liza made an attempt to move forward but Klaus sped towards her, placing an arm around her shoulders to keep her safe and away from Rebekah and the imposter. The imposter couldn't talk, just continued to flail wildly. With a swift flick of her wrist, the neck of the imposter was broken, and the body dropped to the ground. Slowly, it crumbled away into dust, meaning that it was some kind of magic using a golem. Liza stepped forward away from Klaus, locking eyes with Rebekah. The two moved closer together, towards each other, until their noses were almost touching.
"That was hot," Liza breathed out, half-joking, half-serious, before grabbing the collar of Rebekah's sleek leather jacket and pulling her close, kissing her. Rebekah wasted no time kissing back.
