"I can't believe we're doing this." Liza said nervously, gazing at Klaus' reflection in the mirror behind her. "I mean, what if she says no? What if I mess it up?" Klaus rolled his eyes at his best friends' tendency of being over dramatic.
"Liza, you've been dating for two years. You two have been completely head over heels for each other for every second of those two years. She'll say yes." Liza chewed on her bottom lip nervously as she smoothed out her dress. It was black and simple but it suited her well and, damn, she looked good.
"Okay," Liza breathed out, nodding at Klaus' encouraging words. "Okay."

Liza looked at her beautiful girlfriend in awe, once again stunned by her beauty. Everyday, Liza was again reminded of how beautiful Rebekah was. As the pair stood on the balcony of the Abattoir, two hours after they got home from their incredibly fancy dinner and ice cream date afterwards, Liza couldn't help but take it all in. The moonlight shone so beautifully, making Rebekah glow, her hair in beautifully styled curls falling down over her shoulders. She was wearing a red dress. Rebekah always did look good in red.
"Beks?" Liza asked, gathering the other woman's attention. Liza felt nervous, like she was asking someone out for the first time all over again. "Everyday, I am falling in love with you more and more, all over again." A soft smiled graced Rebekah's lips, but Liza didn't stop there. "You are so beautiful. Gorgeous, really. Sometimes I wonder if you're actually a goddess and not a vampire." There was slight nervous laughter from Liza. "I love you so much, and I never want to know what it's like to be without you." Rebekah's eyes glossed over with the faintest sign of coming tears. Liza opened her small clutch, pulling out a small, black velvet box, before kneeling down in front of Rebekah. It was cheesy, and Liza almost tipped over in the dress and heels, but Rebekah deserved this - she deserved the cheesiest, most romantic relationship. "Rebekah Mikaelson, will you marry me?" Rebekah gasped, a few stray tears of joy falling from her eyes. Rebekah took a brief moment to compose herself, sniffling.
"I can't live without my girl, Liza." Liza grinned brilliantly, sliding the ring onto Rebekah's finger before lunging into her arms. The two kissed lovingly, and appreciated each others warm embrace.
They weren't perfect, but they had each other, and it was really all they needed.
