THE LITTLE coffee shop in the airport was cute and peaceful, but Liza was still happy to get out of there. She had spent enough time cooped up in places that she didn't want to be.
Stepping out of the airport, dragging her suitcase along behind her, Liza took a moment to appreciate the sun washing over her. Through sunglasses covered eyes, Liza looked for a certain vehicle before her eyes finally rested on a large black SUV. The driver got out as soon as Liza approached, opening up the back and taking the girls suitcase, placing it inside. Liza slid off her sunglasses, eyes bright and shining with excitement. Her driver for the day looked at her in amusement, watching her bounce lightly on the balls of her feet in pure happiness. Chuckling, he opened his arms, and Liza nearly knocked him over in a hug.
"Klaus! Oh my god, this is so cool!" Liza squealed, her curly hair bouncing as she never stopped moving at all due to her energy. It was unusual for Klaus, but when he spoke to Liza, and seeing her now, he felt so protective over her. It was such a fond feeling, one that he had only ever felt with his own daughter.
"Let's get going, shall we?" Klaus mused, opening up the passenger side door for her. Liza laughed, getting into the car, buckling up quickly. Klaus got into the driver's seat, the car roaring back to life.
"Does anyone know I'm coming?" Liza asked, looking over at Klaus. He turned out of the airport, smiling again.
"I mentioned it to my friends, Marcel and Camille, to help with the surprise. You'll like them, but, you like everyone." Liza laughed loudly, throwing her head back, eyes squinting shut.
"There might be someone that I don't like!" Liza defended, her eyes almost twinkling. No, Klaus thought, her eyes definitely were twinkling.
"I doubt it, love," Klaus mocked back, containing a large grin. Liza settled down for a moment, relaxing back into her seat.
"You'd be surprised at what I'm capable of." Liza said back, and while her overall tone was joking, there was a certain edge to her voice. Almost as if there was something she hadn't told them, like there was something she was hiding. Klaus couldn't judge though, they all had their secrets. "Anyways, who's Camille? Anyone special?" Liza winked playfully at Klaus, but the sudden flush of color on his cheeks made her grin wildly. "Oh, I can't wait to meet her!"

A man and a woman were waiting outside for Klaus and Liza when they arrived at the Abattoir. Liza nearly slammed the car door shut, skipping up to the pair, a grin glued onto her face.
"You must be Marcel and Camille!" The woman smiled with a nod, and Liza hugged her. "It's so nice to meet you!" Camille laughed, smiling warmly at Liza. The girl was just as happy and energetic as Klaus had told her. Liza turned her attention to Marcel. Before he could say anything, Liza hugged him too, making him tense up. He wasn't used to hugs, and hers seemed so kind and genuine.
"Is everything set up?" Klaus asked the pair after Liza released Marcel, who nodded.
"Your siblings are all in the courtyard, just waiting for your lovely surprise." Klaus smirked, pleased with his setup.
"Alright love, you stay out here for a moment. I think you'll know when the time to come in is right." Liza nodded, and watched the trio walk into the Abattoir.
"Brother, care to tell us what we're doing here?" Elijah asked, hands in the pockets of his dress pants. As per usual, he is dressed in a neat suit, looking dashing. Hayley stood near him, Hope in her arms. Kol, Rebekah and Freya all stood around as well. Davina was supposed to be there, but unfortunately had more pressing matters to attend to.
"I've gotten you all a present!" Klaus said, looking mighty proud of himself. Rebekah scowled, rolling her eyes at her brother.
"Whatever it is surely can't be too important." She snapped, crossing her arms across her chest.
"That's hurts, Bekah." A voice called from behind her, making everyone turn to look at whoever had just entered the courtyard. At the sight of Liza, Rebekah's arms fell to her sides, her mouth falling open in shock. "What, no hug?" Liza joked, walking closer to Rebekah until she was within arms reach. Wordlessly, Rebekah grabbed her by the shoulders, pulling her close to give her a tight hug.
"Oh, my god, you're here." Rebekah whispered softly into Liza's ear. Liza giggled quietly, kissing Rebekah quickly on the cheek.
"I'm full of surprises, honey." Liza's eyes ran over everyone else in the room, but landed on Hope. "Baby!" Liza squealed excitedly, making a beeline for the child in Hayley's arms. Hayley smiled, letting Liza coo at Hope lovingly, her silly baby voice making everyone laugh. This felt right, this felt normal, like home.

Hayley had taken Hope to put her to bed, with Elijah trailing along with her, and Freya went with Marcel and Camille to a bar. Klaus, Liza, Rebekah and Kol were the only three left in the courtyard. They were sitting around a table, making small talk, when Kol paused, narrowing his eyes.
"It seems we have an unwanted guests." He stated. The four turned, looking at a group of six men that had entered the courtyard. Something must have seemed off to the other three, because Rebekah stood and moved Liza behind her protectively. Suddenly, as if everything was moving too fast, the six men had fangs and veins protruding from their eyes and they were speeding towards the Mikaelsons. In a flash, the three had taken them down with ease.
"Wait," Kol said, looking around at the bodies. "There's only five bodies." Liza looked around in confusion, before she felt someone grabbing her from behind. Liza let out a surprised yelp, catching the Originals' attention. With calm ease, Liza raised her hand, and with a swift flick of her wrist, the lady vampires neck snapped and his body fell to the ground. The siblings all stared in shock at Liza, who shrugged sheepishly.
"I think we need to talk."
