Yamcha and Vegeta landed on separate pillars of rock and faced each other. "I'm honestly impressed! No ordinary Earthling could just make sport of Nappa like that. Perhaps you're not so pathetic after all." Vegeta said.
Yamcha smirked. "Thanks... I guess. Now, let's get this going." Yamcha took a fighting stance, and Vegeta did as well. Yamcha decided to attack first, so he powered up to his max and rushed at Vegeta. They began to go at it, trading blows and moving so fast that they seemed to constantly disappear and reappear at times. At first, they seemed even, but it soon became clear that Vegeta had an advantage. First, he punched Yamcha in the gut, then slammed him backwards. As Yamcha went flying, Vegeta appeared above him and backhanded him towards the ground. Yamcha caught himself on a pillar and jumped to his feet, then took a deep breath. "Heh. He's stronger than I thought he would be. Alright, maybe I should try something." Yamcha looked up at Vegeta and shouted "Kaio-ken!" A crimson aura flared up around him, and Yamcha charged.
Yamcha began to attack Vegeta, who barely managed to dodge his blows. Finally, Yamcha landed a solid kick to Vegeta's jaw, then landed on the ground and punched him in the stomach so hard he coughed. Vegeta quickly regained his composure and attempted to fight back, but Yamcha managed to keep up- for a short while. Vegeta eventually landed a few heavy blows, then ended his attack with a blast to Yamcha's chest. Vegeta sent Yamcha flying straight into a rock pillar, and it collapsed on top of him. Vegeta looked down at the rock pile and smirked. "Hmph. Well, that was a bit trickier than I expected, but-" BOOM! Yamcha burst out of the rocks and rose into the sky, when suddenly Vegeta fired an energy wave at him. "Whoa!" Yamcha exclaimed, "Kaio-ken times 2!" Even with the power boost, Yamcha barely managed to evade the blast. Even still, it grazed his chest. He landed on another rock pillar and glanced down at the injury- it wasn't too bad, just a very large bruise. Vegeta folded his arms. "Well, now. Missed him. How nimble." Yamcha clenched his teeth as he looked back up at Vegeta, removing the top part of his Turtle School uniform as he did. Alright. If Kaio-ken times 2 won't be enough, then how about times 3? Yamcha grimaced. I'll never know until I try... Yamcha's eyes sharpened. "Kaio-ken times 3!"
Vegeta watched as Yamcha's red aura returned, when Yamcha disappeared, appearing in front of Vegeta and kicking him across the face. Vegeta was about to go flying, but Yamcha quickly grabbed his leg and spun him around, then hurled him away. He appeared in Vegeta's path and landed an uppercut to the Saiyan prince's chest. Then, Yamcha appeared above him and flew down towards him, grabbing his leg. Then, Yamcha slammed Vegeta into a rock pillar so hard that it cracked. Vegeta quickly recovered and tried to retaliate, but Yamcha had already leaped backward into the air. As he jumped back, Yamcha fired an energy blast at the pillar, and Vegeta's eyes widened. "No-" The blast hit the pillar, and there was a large, yellow explosion. Vegeta went flying, but steadied himself and rushed towards Yamcha. Here he comes- uh-oh! The Kaio-ken is wearing off... Vegeta tried to attack, but Yamcha summoned the last scraps of his energy to prolong the Kaio-ken. He caught Vegeta's fists and threw him into a cliff. Vegeta recovered and stood on a pillar, staring at one of his bleeding fists. His eyes were wild with rage. "Grrr... who does this fool think he's dealing with? I am a super elite... the prince of all Saiyans! I'll show him... I'll show them all! I'll reduce this place to ASHES!" He looked at Yamcha. "DO YOU HEAR ME, EARTHLING?!" Yamcha looked up in shock. "W-what? No, don't!"
Vegeta was too angry to listen. He blasted off into the air, then stopped and turned around. He did his Galick Gun stance, and a purple aura surrounded him. A magenta-colored energy orb began to crackle under his bottom hand. Yamcha's eyes widened. Oh, no. Not good. Not good at ALL. What the heck did I just get myself into?!
