Tien studied the movements of the real shooter calmly. He's shooting while moving, jumping from rock to rock. It could be another decoy, but either way I don't have a choice. Tien spread his feet and grimaced. "Here goes!" He began to power up, and suddenly he split into four Tien clones. "What's that attack?" Beerus wondered. "It's called Multi-Form and lets him create four clones." Krillin explained. "So, he was hiding such a wonderful attack? With that technique, we're sure to win now!" Supreme Kai said in a joyful voice. Krillin didn't seem so sure: "There's a catch to using the move, though." All four Tien clones ran forward, making a beeline towards the real sniper. As the sniper fired a shot at the four duplicates, their eyes glowed. "There!" one of the clones exclaimed before he was hit by the shot. Another Tien clenched his teeth and concentrated. "Three clones left." "When Tien splits into his four clones, his speed and power are split amongst them as well." Krillin said in a worried tone. "What? That's no good!" Supreme Kai replied.
The clones all kept their eyes on the shooter, who was still jumping from boulder to boulder. "It looks like after each shot, he moves to another position." Tien noted. His eyes narrowed as he noticed where the shooter had gone to next. "Now he's there!" The sniper fired another blast and hit another clone, leaving two running at him. "But with this many eyes, I can find my enemy!" Tien remarked confidently. "He used the clone as a shield?!" Supreme Kai exclaimed. "Tien's eyes are sharp enough that they allow him to see the enemy attacking. But he doesn't have the defensive ability to block the shots." Krillin said. Beerus closed his eyes. "I see. Either he reaches the enemy first or all four clones will get taken down. Either way, it's a risky gamble." Krillin clenched his fists. "You can do it, Tien!" The two clones left kept running towards the true culprit.
"Kakarot, let's attack too!" Vegeta ordered, "If energy attacks don't work..." The Saiyan prince reached down and picked up a huge boulder from the tournament stage. Then, with a yell of effort, he chucked it straight at Prum, who leaped out of the way as it crushed his perch. Goku smiled. "Huh. I see. Pretty smart, Vegeta. OK, I'll give it a go, too!" He also picked up a huge chunk of the material, which was known as Kachi Katchin, and threw it at Prum, who narrowly dodged a second time. The two Saiyans, undeterred, continued to throw giant chunks of Kachi Katchin at Prum. The pudgy contestant dodged a few more rocks, then looked over to the area where the real shooter, his teammate Hermila, was. "Hey, Hermila! Hurry up and fire another shot! This time I'll take them both out at once!" Then he directed his attention back to his own situation and barely dodged yet another attack. At the same time, Hermila was taking cover behind a large boulder. "Wait a minute. I'm in trouble too." "B-but-" Hermila closed his eyes. "Sorry, Prum." He peeked over to see both remaining Tien clones charging forward. "If we can keep them from working together, we have a chance!" Tien remarked. Another blue blast careened towards the face of one of the clones, but the other one jumped in the way and took the blast. All three downed clones faded as Tien felt his power rise back up to its normal level. "I'm the last one. But now that I'm this close..."
He formed a triangle with his hands and yellow energy crackled between them. All three of Tien's eyes narrowed. "Tri-Beam... HA!" A triangular yellow blast of energy shot out from between his hands and completely obliterated Hermila's hiding spot. It also injured him to the point of making him drop to his knees, his shoulders cracked and smoking. That rendered his built-in wrist cannons, which he had been using to fire the sniper shots, useless. Tien looked down at his defeated foe. "Will you shoot? Who will go down first, me or you?" "I-I can't shoot. I can't even target you anymore." Hermila muttered. "I see. You did well for an enemy. You have my praise." Tien said as he got ready to fire another Tri-Beam. Hermila's grimace turned into a sneaky grin. "Same to you." Suddenly, his wrist cannons fired straight into the ground and it began to crack apart. "What?!" Tien exclaimed as he lowered his hands in surprise. "Tien, move out of the way!" a voice called. Tien glanced up and over his shoulder to see Yamcha charging a Kamehameha while rushing forward in midair. Yamcha fired the blast, praying that Tien would get out of the attack's path in time. "Ka-me-ha-me... HAAAAA!" Luckily for Tien, he did manage to move away to a safe distance. "Dammit!" Hermila exclaimed as the floor beneath him crumbled to pieces from the force of his blasts and Yamcha's Kamehameha.
Yamcha landed on the ground and sighed. "Whew! That was close." He looked at Tien and smirked. "Not bad there, Tien. Except for me saving your hide and everything, I'd say that was a pretty good job!" Tien laughed. "Heh... Thanks for the assist, Yamcha. I let my guard down for a moment." "Hey, don't sweat it, man. You still accomplished your goal!" Meanwhile, Prum was wondering what to do when one of Universe 6's warriors, a pig-like humanoid named Dr. Rota, rushed up and grabbed him, grinning confidently. "Thought you'd defeated me, didn't you?!" he demanded, since Prum had shot him in the back of the head and knocked him out cold earlier. "Y-you? Let go!" Prum exclaimed. "Let me show you why I, Dr. Rota, am called a doctor! My ability is-" "Shut the hell up!" Vegeta shouted as he fired a Galick Gun and sent them both toppling off the stage. Vegeta lowered his arms, with one of his eyes twitching. "That was beginning to irritate me." Goku's expression brightened as he put down the rock he was getting ready to throw. He grinned and placed his fists on his hips. "Well, I guess that takes care of that!"
