CHAPTER VI: Meeting New People

Nicko's POV

I was watched by six pair of eyes which doesn't look very friendly or happy either and that was one of the first times I was lost of words.

They were whispering to each other figuring out what would they say.

A man that looked like forty years old approach me. He was wearing some kind of antique blue robe which was tattered and was loosing its color, some goblets, and large boots. His eyes were a deep blue and his hair was dark (which was turning gray).

"Who are you?" the man asked me.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"I asked first" he said.

"Does it matter?" I asked.

"What you just said brat?!" he asked angry.

"You called me brat?" I asked angry.

"Yes, does it matter?" he said.

"Oh shut up you old fart" I said.

"He is even more annoying than you" he looked to a girl.

"Shut up, Dex" said the girl. "If I'm that annoying I think I can talk to him" she said.

A girl about my age approached me. She was wearing a red shirt, blue tattered jeans, and some sandals. Her eyes were fiery red and her hair was a soft chocolate.

"Who are you?" she asked.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"You begin with it and I'll burn you to ashes with fire alive." she said getting angry.

"Fine. Don't get mad." I said.

"I'm Nicko. You?" I asked.

"I'm Alice" she said.

"From Wonderland?" I asked half smiling.

"No you idiot. My name is Alice Brooks." she said. "Which kind of wizard are you?" she asked.

"A FrostWizard" I said.

Everyone look astonished except for Alice who was smiling.

"You're lying" Alice said.

"No I'm not" I said.

"Prove it" Alice said.

I was joining my hands when I remember that I released too much energy when I was trying to open the trapdoor and creating the slide but I must try and create something that won't use too much energy.

So I joined my hands and concentrated hard. I felt like ice was molding all around me, cold mist was enveloping me, and I felt like I was regaining my energy.

I just said the words "Ice Magic, sword creation!" And a double-edged sword formed in my hands.

Now even Alice was open mouthed but that wasn't too much time.

"Well, I'm a FireWizard and everyone knows that fire melt ice" Alice said.

"Well, even fire can't withstand such cold ice as mine" I said.

"Do you even have some training?" Alice asked.

"No. Why should I?" I asked.

"You are so naive. You must have training to survive, Nicko. If not, you can't defend against other wizards, monsters, creatures or the government" Alice said.

"Oh. Well, can you teach me, Alice?" I said smiling.

"Yeah, why not" she said smiling.

"I'll introduce you to every one. But first, can you destroy that sword?" she asked.

"How?" I asked feeling dumb.

"Well, how about hitting it?" she said.

"Good idea" I said while hitting the sword against the floor. "Thank you"

"No problem. Now lets introduce you to everyone" she said.

Alice directed me to the man I kind of argued with.

"He is Dex" she said.

"Nice to meet you, brat" said Dex.

"The same goes for you, old fart" I said.

She then directed me to a pair of boys. One looked about my age and the other looked like 11. The one that looked about 11 was wearing a green t-shirt and the other one a sky-blue t-shirt and both were wearing some blue jeans and black shoes. The green t-shirt boy had deep green eyes and the other sky-blue eyes and both have dark hair.

"Hi, I'm Chris" said the sky-blue eyes kid.

"And I'm Max" said the deep green eyes kid.

"They are twins. Chris can do Air Magic and Max can do Nature Magic" said Alice.

"Nice to meet ya Chris and Max" I said.

To my amazement, Alice hold my hand and directed me to a girl that looked about the same age as me, Alice, and Chris.

She was wearing the same clothes as Alice just that her top was yellow and her jeans weren't tattered. Her eyes were a strong yellow and her hair was black.

"I'm Claire" the girl said."I'm an ElectricWizard" she said.

"Cool" I said.

"Ah, thank you" said Claire getting red.

Alice then directed me to a boy.

"Why she got red?" I asked her before we get to the the boy.

"She always does when a boy talks to her but specially when Chris does" Alice said.

"So she likes Chris?" I asked.

"I think so" she said.

We walked some more holding hands (I don't know why) and get to a dog? Now I'm confused.

"He's Jet" said Alice.

"A dog!?" I asked amazed.

"No. He's a Transforming Wizard" Alice said.

"So he can transform into anything?" I asked.

"Just animals" said Jet turning to normal. "Nice to meet you"

"The same for you" I said.

After Jet turned into human he was wearing a chocolate t-shirt, black pants, and some shoes. He looked about 15 and his eyes were gray and his hair was black like Claire's.

"Well, you've already met everyone. Now let's begin training" said Alice.

Sorry for taking too much time to do this chapter. I added many people in this chapter. I'll try to publish a chapter per week but I can't promise anything 'cause of the school.
