Joel and Naomie

CHAPTER VIII: Joel and Naomie

Alice's POV

When Nicko and I get out of the infirmary we heard that the trapdoor flew opened. I felt a familiar heat and I thought it might be she.

One boy and one girl descended from the trapdoor and landed in the hall.

The boy looked seriously injured and the girl looked injured but not as bad as the boy. After a time I realized that the boy was Joel and the girl was Naomie.

Joel was wearing his usual chocolate cargo pants, his blue shirt, black goblets and his combat boots(although they were all tattered). He also have dark chocolate eyes(which were closed) and his dark, black hair looked like a bird nest as always.

Naomie was wearing her usual red top with yellow linings, a blue mini skirt,her yellow converse, and a red bandana. Her fiery red eyes (as always) stood out with her dark-blond hair.

"How are you, sister? Can you give me a hand?" asked Naomie.

"Naomie, what happened to you and Joel? Why are the both of you, especially Joel, so injured?" I asked concerned.

"Not everything goes the way you expect things to happen when you are in a mission" she said.

"Well, things will go the way you expect if you don't choose the A-Class missions" I said.

"A-Class missions?" asked Nicko.

"Every Wizard Institute throughout the world is given missions by the government which only wizards can handle" I said.

"Missions are classified like this: from F to D missions aren't easy nor hard, from C to A missions are hard, and there are the super hard missions which are the S-Class." said Naomie.

"But that's not the point here. We have to heal Joel and Naomie" I said.

"I can heal them" said Nicko.

"But Joel is seriously injured. He received many Water balls and Thunderbolts from the creature because he was trying to protect me." said Naomie.

"Was it a hybrid?" asked Chris.

"I think it is but it didn't seemed natural. It actually seemed that it was fused by someone." said Naomie.

"It doesn't matter right now" I said. "Max, Nicko, and Dex I need you to help me heal them"

"Nicko, you and Dex go and heal Joel while Max and I heal Naomie" I said.

"Right away, Alice" said Dex.

Dex's POV

I've gotten teamed up with Nicko. Yuupii.

We directed to Joel and I began desinfecting the wounds while Nicko began charging a Healing spell.

"Can you make it to cover he all?" I asked to Nicko.

"I think. But I will have to charge more time" Nicko said. "And I think you will have to cover him all in a water sphere for my ice to cover he with a more powerful ice sphere."

I must admit that was a brilliant idea, although I don't know if it will work.

(5 minutes later)

"Are you done Nicko?" I asked.

"Almost. You should begin engulfing him" he said.

"Alright, boss. Water Sphere!" I shouted with my hands on Joel and within seconds he was engulfed with my water.

"Ready?" I asked

Nicko putted his staff in the water sphere and shouted "Frost Heal spell, Ice Sphere!" and my water turned into ice in an instant.
