My hand stopped in mid-air, just before swiping my pass card through the machine that gave access to the swimming pool. I bit my bottom lip, glancing around with apprehension. Should I really do it? Vic stipulated to not let other people enter the club. I didn't remember him saying that the access for members was forbidden outside the training hours. So, it was okay, right? I moved my hand in the direction of the machine, then paused once again. What if I didn't listen at this moment? Maybe I'll be in some great trouble, someone will see me at the pool and will report it. I dropped my hand to my side, hesitation was killing me. Since when Kellin debate for something so insignificant? Since Vic is an evil Captain who can fire me right after the two weeks left if I don't fit among my others teammates.

I huffed in frustration. Dilemmas are the worst. It wouldn't have happened if I didn't arrive at seven am on a Monday morning. Trust me to set my alarm too early and be unable to go back to sleep. So, in my sleepy state, I decided it would be good to be at school earlier. As if I would witness something new and very cool. Of course not, high school was empty and I was all by myself, so I thought going at the pool would be the best option. However, now I was in front of the entrance, pondering the idea to enter into the club or not.

Fuck it, there was nobody in the area to acknowledge my presence, I had a pass card, I could do it. This time, I swiped the card with determination and felt completely at peace when the gate made a beeping noise. I jogged up the stairs with a joyful grin, avid to see what kind of view the pool platform offered in the morning.

I gasped when I saw a silhouette underwater, gliding along the length in such an elegant way. Perhaps, I was too eager to have functioning ears because I certainly didn't hear loud splashes as I hopped up the stairs. Before I could move a toe, a head emerged to the surface and I was met with two goggle's eyes. In a few swift movements, he swam to the edge of the pool, then he pushed himself up with his strong arms. I couldn't take my eyes off his glistening chest as he walked up to me, disposing of his swim cap and goggles.

"Hey Kellin, what brings you here so early?" Vic greeted me and I had to blink a few times to make sure I was in reality, not in some parallel world where Vic was a kind trainer.

"I, uh, set my alarm too early so...I thought it would be okay to come here?" I tried to explain, my attention rather focused on his caramel torso than on his eyes.

Vic literally chuckled at that and I looked up at him in wonder. What happened to him this weekend? People can't change this quickly, it's destabilizing.

"I see, well I'm not really surprised. Actually, I'm glad you're here, I have some things to tell you," he announced, seriousness taking control of his deep brown eyes.

I nodded, having trouble to stay concentrate when I had this perfect body just in front of me. I just had to raise my hand and I could touch his abs, as firms as a chocolate bar. I salivated mentally at this mesmerizing sigh. It was the first time I'd seen his bare chest uncovered as closely.

Suddenly, Vic clicked his fingers an inch away from my face and I immediately shook my head off. Once again, I had let my mind wander but I couldn't help myself. The beauty is here to be admired, not neglected.

"You're not listening, right?" he asked with a sight.

"You said something?"

"Yes but you were daydreaming, as usual," Vic said casually. Either he decided to ignore the fact I just checked him out or he was really blind.

"I owe you an apologie for the other night. You didn't deserve to be judge and I shouldn't have pushed you to the edge with questions since it made you uncomfortable for whatever reason. I'm sorry, I tend to look at things in a professional way and don't like to not know what's going on, so yeah..." he trailed off, rubbing his neck subconsciously.
