I opened the door leading outside the changing room and a big grin spread onto my lips as I spotted Vic leaning against the wall, waiting for me. I must say that I was kind of disappointed to see him with warm clothes back on, but still, my heart fluttered at the sight of him. I swear I've just taken the quickest shower of all times to spend extra time with my boyfriend. It felt so good to be able to call him that, and now that I could, I would do it every chance I had.

"You were fast," Vic greeted me with a smile.

"I didn't want you to wait too long," I said sweetly as I handed him his soap and shampoo and frowned when I saw the bruise under his left eye. Even if the incident with my phone brought us together, I wasn't pleased with myself for hurting him.

"What's wrong?" inquired Vic, his voice laced with concern. I loved hearing concern in his voice, that made me feel important to him and I really liked that.

"Does it hurt a lot?" I asked while bringing my hand up to his face to touch his wound lightly.

"Don't worry, it's okay Kellin," he assured as he grabbed my hand and laced his fingers with mine making my heart race like crazy.

I certainly looked like an idiot staring at our hands with wide eyes but the feeling of his skin against mine still felt completely surreal for me, and most of all amazing.

"I still can't believe we're boyfriends," I murmured, squeezing his hand tighter, enjoying the warm contact.

He responded with a gentle pressure on my hand and a warm smile where I could picture my lips on, but then something flashed in his eyes and he looked at me cautiously.

"Wh-what?" I stuttered, already feeling my heart shattering because every time he looked at me this way, it was never really good news for me.

"Relax Kellin, I just wondered if you'll be okay keeping our relationship secret from the team? I just don't want them to know it before the first competition at least," he said, biting his bottom lip.

Honestly, that wasn't such a big deal, the most important thing for me was that we were together, the rest, we could figure out later.

"Yeah, sure we can do that, but why just from the team?" I asked.

"Nobody knows I'm gay on the team and competition is in one week. I don't want them to find out now, I'm scared it will affect the way I lead the training. You know because of some prejudices and all...I don't know how they'll react and I don't want to take the risk right now," he rambled.

"But Vic...You're the scariest trainer I ever had, nobody would try to mess with you just because you like guys," I said truthfully. I mean, everyone knew I was gay in the team and they didn't give a care, except when I checked out their bodies too obviously when we changed in the changing room, otherwise they were really cool.

"Yeah, but you never know. Plus, I don't want them to gossip and think about it when they have to concentrate on the competition first, you feel me?" he explained and I pondered the thought before nodding slowly, comprehensive. Wait a minute, there were some teammates who were already with Vic last year, that meant...

"Oh!" I exclaimed as a thought popped up into my mind.

"What?"

"You kept your relationship secret the whole time last year?" I squealed, kind of shocked when he nodded awkwardly.

"Um, Tony didn't want anyone to find out. I know you're openly gay and you surely find it annoying but I promise you, it's just for one week, after that there'll be no problem with you screaming it to the whole world if you want."
