Day Six: Did You Say Something?

  "Okay, I give up!" I shout. I flip over the monopoly game board and sulk in my seat.

  "Aw come on cuz, give it another chance." Asher says, I raise my eyebrow at him and he goes red.

  That's right Asher I have dirt on you two, ya bitch.

    "There's no point I'm just going to win every time." Ryder boasted.

  If only I had a spell that could reduce his ego to the size of Damien's penis....that would be great.

  "Ryder you cheat every dann time." I said. He shrugged.

  I fake laugh and grab my coke. I made sure that all the beers and alcohol was put away safely where no one would find it.

Especially Asher.

   "Hello!" Maria sang out as she came through the front door.

  A sad face Piper came in after her. She was shuffling on her feet as if she was uncomfortable.

  I stand up and wrap my arms around her. Being careful not to squish the baby.

  I hoped she would soon tell Asher about the child. This whole fight their having is ridiculous.

"Hey Pipes." I say taking a step back.

   "Hey Elena, I'm here for Emily." She says. Her voice is hoarse and I can see her watery eyes.

  "She's asleep upstairs......you can go get her if you want to." Asher offers not taking his eyes off of the ground.

Huh, these assholes didn't know how to talk to each other.

Piper focuses her attention on him and his movements. She bites her lips and thinks for a minute.

  "How long has she been asleep for?"

   Asher finally looks at her and his mouth morphs into a frown.

  "Not that long, just an hour ago or so." He replies.

  "Well I guess I can wake her up." She says.

She turns away and walks up the steps, Asher quickly gets up and follows her.

  I give his back a knowing smile and sit back down on the couch. I look around the room and my eyes settle on Ryder.

  He was having a discussion with Maria, and from the looks of it not a good one.

  I decide to give them some space and head up the steps to help Piper and Asher with Emily.
 
  She was a handful when she got woken up. I walk down the hall to Asher's room and I go to walk in.

  I mentally groan when I see Asher just watching Piper. Not talking.

  If they kept acting like this, there was no way they'd get back together.

  Emily was laying back down even though Piper was trying her hardest to get her up.

  "Pipes, just go home." I say. "I can put Emily in my bed. You need some rest and I'm sure dealing with Emily won't be easy."

   "Please." Asher mumbles. I think he meant to say it a bit lower than that.

  Piper whipped around to face him and frowned.

  "Please what?" She asked.

    "No!" I yelled. "No arguing today, if I hear one peep out of anyone's mouth while I leave this room I will kill you."

I turn around to leave when I hear Asher mumble something.
