Luke Hemmings doesn't fit in with most people at his school. He isn't a big fan of socialisation at school, and believes that school is for education and not for getting at the top of a social pyramid. The art room is basically his second home, and most of his lunches are spent finishing off artwork or starting another. He isn't bullied or anything, although he has been called an 'emo' and 'loner' a couple of times, he just laughs it off.

Calum Hood is popular. He's the best soccer player under eighteen in Sydney, he's invited to anyone and everyone's parties and invites almost everyone to his parties. His main goal at school is to remain the most popular, and he couldn't care less about what grades he gets because his dream is to become a soccer player who goes competes in the olympics one day. No one would ever dare insult him, well not until they found out.

Two boys who don't exactly want the school to know their secrets. They had no idea that they were alike, until their friend tells accidentally tells the secret, and threatens to tell the world unless they follow his instructions.
