I chuckled as I dressed, buttoning my pants as Valor watched me with a satisfied smirk.

"That was-

"I know." I said with a smirk as I picked up my soaked and torn long sleeve from the skeet covered forest floor.

Valor grinned, handing me his shirt which I gratefully slipped on.

Valor took my hand in his as we began the short trek back home.

It was so natural now. As if he were specifically made to hold my hand in his, how perfect mine fit in his amazed me.

I grinned as we approached my parents house, Raven and Cassius sitting on the porch steps, both rising to greet us.

"So, you're a hybrid." Cassius said with a grin.

I hadn't thought of it that way, but I guess I was.

"What's it like when you shift?" Raven asked.

"I'm not sure. I was supposed to shift when I received my title on my birthday, but I kind of got attacked and was unconscious for a period of time. " I said.

I looked inside through the glass window to see my mother and father in the living room with my brothers as they all talked, Solomon seated there as well with Alexander.

They all turned our way, standing up as they made their way onto the porch.

"Do you know why he's here? Again?" I asked quickly.

"You haven't received your title in the eyes of the Council because you were unconscious. He's just here to officiate and record things. Once again." Valor said.

I grinned. How could I have forgotten something as important as that.

I grinned at the sight of my father and mother who smiled at Valor and I, Pierre and Giselle following them with excitement in their faces.

"Come on." Giselle said as she pulled me from Valor's grip and my mother grinned as they pulled me up the stairs.

I was greeted by Lily, holding up a breathtaking red velvet dress, the color instantly reminding me of Valor. My Valor and his gorgeous eyes.

"It's beautiful." I whispered.

"I wore it the night I became coven leader with Pierre. I thought it would look beautiful on you." Giselle said.

I thanked her and took a much needed shower before I put the dress on, pleasantly surprised when it was a perfect fit that hugged my frame. I was never much to get all dressed up, especially in a dress, but I actually was surprised at how good I felt.

My hair fell in its natural light brown waves and we decided to go minimal with the makeup and I felt pretty in my skin.

I thought about Valor as I stared out the window, my eyes set on the tree line as I touched my neck where Valor's claim stood. It was like I could feel his soft lips on me still as I closed my eyes.

Damn.

My life changed so quickly.

I sighed out as I smiled. Who knew it would've been a good change. One I hadn't known I wanted.

My mother's voice brought me back to reality.

"Willow?" My mom asked.

"What?" I whispered.

She smiled at me knowingly.

"You love him." She said.

I smirked as she and Giselle exchanged glances, Lily grinning from ear to ear.

"He's wonderful." I said honestly.

"I can't wait for you to have a pup!" Lily screeched.

Giselle stiffened, and I already knew what was coming.

"Vampires can't have children." I said quietly. It's exactly why Giselle had never had any of her own, it saddened me, she would've been an amazing mother.

Lily's lit up face immediately dimmed.

"I'm sorry." She whispered.

Giselle gave her a reassuring smile and I stood.

"Let's get this show on the road." I said.

I walked downstairs, my father standing there in nothing but black dress pants. Valor and Pierre wearing the same simple pants. My brothers and Solomon and Alexander stood dressed in similar attire.

I smiled at the sight of Valor, his usual messy hair was slicked back, his chiseled features more prominent, his obvious good looks on full display.

I watched his facial expression change as his eyes took me in.

"Isn't she the most beautiful thing you've ever seen?"  Valor said aloud to no one in particular.

He flashed me a smile as he took my hand, kissing my knuckles softly.

"You look very handsome." I told him honestly, letting my eyes travel over his well toned muscles and back up to his face.

I kissed his cheek softly, his eyes closing as he rested his hand on the small of my bare back as I pulled away.

"I love you." I said in his ear.

He kissed my lips softly.

"Alright. Enough of that, we've been waiting." I heard in a familiar voice.

I grinned at the sight of Raven and Cassius who peeked their heads in from the porch.

I smiled at Raven.

I hated to admit it but I kind of missed her.

Valor gripped my hand, noticing I was quickly becoming nervous at the fact that this was going to happen in front of both the pack and the coven. I just hoped they were getting along.

We walked outside, my father and mother in front of us and Pierre and Giselle in front of them.

I had forgotten how big our pack has grown over the years, but seeing the hundreds of people that stood gathered around our porch was a little unnerving. I picked out familiar faces as I tried to steady my nerves. Raven. Cassius. James. Even Anya, her face holding disgust, but still familiar.

I would lead them. It was my job to protect them and make sure they were safe and healthy. I would be their alpha female, their Luna , and Valor would be their Alpha and we would also be leaders of the coven at the same time, both werewolves and vampires blended into one population and under the same jurisdiction.

I had no idea how we're were going to do it, but it would be interesting.
