It's been almost three months and Pierre and Giselle have been the training me everyday. Though I am thankful, I would have much rather my mate train me, but Valor has been so distant.
I hissed as Giselle's fist grazed my cheek and I stepped back.
"You're not focusing. What's got you bothered?" She said.
I hesitated and she cocked her head to the side in disapproval.
"It's Valor. He hasn't even bothered to do so much as kiss me. He hardly even looks at me now." I said. I knew my heat was coming soon, and although it wouldn't be as strong, it was still coming and would be painful if he wasn't there to help me.
"You need to talk to him." She said.
I nodded and thanked her before excusing myself.
I walked into the house, Valor's scent faint, but lingering as if he'd just been here. Ava had been with my parents since I left this morning so I knew she was safe.
I sighed and walked upstairs, showering quickly and putting on a pair of sweats and a sports bra before heading downstairs.
I hissed at the sight of three strangers. Two men and a tall platinum haired woman, their red eyes finding mine as I hissed my warning and let my claws extend.
I could definitely take them if I had to. I was much stronger now and my reason to survive was safely tucked away with my parents and I would defend myself in order to see my family again.
I watched as they all grinned, Valor smirked as he appeared from behind them.
I froze as I saw him.
"I need to talk to you." I said as I stood up straight, his eyes piercing into mine as he nodded, dismissing the vampires.
"I know you Willow. You're afraid I've forgotten about you, but I can promise you I haven't and I never will. Right now we both need to focus, that's why I've distanced myself from you, even though it pained me, we needed it, but now I know we're ready for anything." He said.
My mistake was asking him why he did it because he locked the door and drew the blinds before turning around and making his way towards me.
"It's incomprehensible to you how much you dominate my entire being. My mind. Images of your addicting body flash through it and then you take over my senses. Touch. I can feel your supple skin under my fingers. Taste. Your skin. Your blood. Your lips. Your center. All to die for. Your smell. The sweetest aroma that's ever existed. Bergamot and vanilla because of your shampoo. It's soft yet delightful. Sound. I love hearing you say my name, your voice alone captures my attention and when I see you...all I want to do is make love to you over and over again. See you happy and content. You are everything to me and you have no idea just how much I think of you and I knew if I wanted to get things done I had to focus because you distract me in the best way possible, now let me show you how much I've missed you." He said as he brought his head to mine.
I kissed him softly, lacing my arms around his neck as he lifted me by my thighs, locking me in place with is arms as he placed me on the counter.
I sighed out as he moved his kisses to his claim and I hooked my fingers into his belt loops as I held him against me.
Valor peeled the sweats off my legs, leaving me in my undergarments, but he still had far too many articles of clothing on for my taste. I gripped his shirt, tugging it off of him, grinning at the sight before me. If I thought he was muscular before he had only gotten more fit and defined.
Valor slowed as he pulled himself from me as I placed a hand on his chest softly. I felt a whirlwind of emotions flood me as I stared up at him.
"I missed you so much. I thought th-
He smiled and kissed my lips slowly as he silenced me.
"I will always want you, I will always need you, and I will always love you with my entire heart for the rest of my days." He said.
I kissed him softly, breathing in the scent of him that I had missed so much.
He lifted me bridal style, walking up the stairs with me as I ran my fingers through his soft dark hair that was now past his shoulders.
He placed me on the bed, climbing in next to me slowly, the bed creaking as he moved.
I felt his grip on my waist as he guided me towards him, his hand finding my hair as I nestled my head under his chin.
I could feel the intake of his breath slowly and I closed my eyes in the comfortable silence. I loved how intimate the moment was with us hardly even touching, Valor's fingers smoothing circles on my bare back was something I thought I could do for hours, and I did.
"Marry me." He whispered into the silence, his baritone waltzing into the dimly lit room.
He said it so softly and surely. It was not a question, but a statement, because he already knew what my answer would be.
"Ok." I said quietly.
