"Remember me? Remember how we used to dance in rain and watch the sunset? Remember that?"
Enclosed was a single daisy and SHE smiled wistfully. SHE twirled the single daisy in HER hand before thinking back on how THEY would always pick up daisies when THEY were younger. And when that was the only flower that THEY knew how to draw.
Back then, when it was drizzling or raining lightly, THEY would meet up at the park and enjoy the serenity and time together. And it wouldn't matter that THEY were drenched afterwards as it seemed absolutely worth it. And it was true- it would be a while before THEY would be able to enjoy time alone.
Watching the sunset or the sunrise would always be a memory that the two always revisited. Despite everything, until the age of fourteen, THEY would drop everything and walk and watch the sunset. It was gorgeous and it would be a time to catch up and enjoy the company of each other. The colors mixed up in the sky were just like THEIR feelings and thoughts. Beautiful.
"I remember. Those beautiful memories- how outgoing we were- without a single care of the world."
HE agreed before giving a small smile. HE wished that things were still the same- how THEY would be inseparable and that THEY could be there for each other no matter what. Way before SHE cared about appearances and when THEY agreed that the simplest things would be absolutely fine. Those days were long gone and despite the fact that HE wanted things to get better, HE knew that times where THEY could be free without a single burden were long gone.
