"Remember me? Remember how I've always wanted to be a lawyer? Remember how you always believed in being just and whenever asked, you blamed it on being a Libra? Remember how we used to pretend that we were in a court when we were younger? Remember that?"

Enclosed was a black-eyed susan. SHE chuckled softly- fond days. Back then, HE had always dealt with her crazy ideas. Both of THEM had always wanted to be lawyers as THEY both had a passion for fulfilling justice. As THEY grew older, HIS dream job still hasn't changed- no matter the information HE learned or the other suitable jobs.

SHE was a strong believer in being able to bring peace and be fair to others. SHE was always on the student council no matter which schools THEY went to. SHE was normally great in making decisions and was capable of staying calm in difficult situations. SHE wished that instead of all the times that SHE was right and made the right decision, it was the one time SHE didn't believe HIM. SHE didn't even know just at the moment, when THEY graduated college, HE was going through alot. So HER betrayal stung even more than it should have.

Back then, SHE was never one to be incredibly girly and wish to play with dolls or dress up. However, SHE liked to act as if THEY were in a court- with HIS little sister. It was quite a lot of fun as all three of THEM acted things out perfectly and were quite mature for THEIR age. HER favorite role was to be the judge and HIS was to be the lawyer for the accused.

"I remember. Do you still want to be one? And why not look at all perspectives? Sometimes you just need to believe in others. I think I still have that mallet that we used to use."

HE laughed at how ironic SHE was. SHE, out of everyone, should not be talking about believing in others. SHE lost that privilege to say that without being a hypocrite. SHE didn't believe in HIM, when all HE wanted to do was protect HER. Maybe it was wrong for HIM to still hold a grudge, but HE didn't care. HE wasn't the one that ruined a beautiful friendship.
