~September 24th, 2017~
"Remember me? Remember how I would always help prepare you for what would come? Remember how we weren't afraid to wait because we thought good things will come in the end? Remember that?"
Enclosed was a pink valerian. SHE gingerly picked it up and swirled it within two fingers before leaning back in HER chair.
When THEY were children and in THEIR teen years, THEY relied heavily on each other. THEY would always help each other out and THEY would always exchange skills with each other. Once, SHE taught HIM how to bake and it turned out to be an interesting experience. Flour was in THEIR hair and clothes and THEIR end result wasn't the best- but it didn't matter. THEY had fun with each other and it was a time that THEY would never forget.
THEY were never ones to rush things. Never ever would THEY go insane over something materialistic. Even when some of the best opportunities were in front of THEM- and normally THEY were right to not rush into things. In school, THEY never found the need to run from class to class or to get lunch as quickly as possible. In fact, once, THEM being slow saved THEM from food poisoning.
"I remember. I remember how things used to be. Sometimes they say that rushing things is better, but I disagree. Thank you for those times."
HE read it before sighing. In HIS opinion, there was one thing that things should have been done quicker instead of THEIR leisurely way- THEIR relationship. HE doubt that it would have ended in any positive way but it would have been more reassuring and it would have been nice while it lasted.
