"Remember me? Remember those times in which you blew me off like I was just a stranger? Remember when you scoffed at me when I suggested just one chance to be more than friends? Remember that?"

Enclosed was a pink and white carnation. SHE frowned before sighing and tossing it within the vase full of flowers. Ever since HE started sending HER letters again, SHE had decided to get a book on flowers' meanings- not that SHE would actually search them up. SHE knew that SHE wouldn't use it in the end as SHE was too lazy and the meanings were usually hidden within the letter.

When THEY were younger, HE once mentioned the idea that THEY should become more than friends. However, SHE automatically rejected it- only viewing HIM as a brother at the time and SHE now wished she took the opportunity. SHE scoffed at the time and laughed- not seeing the broken look on HIS face. To add to the cut, SHE mentioned every single reason why THEY couldn't be together and the problems that would have been caused.

SHE was never the calmest person in the world and SHE always blamed the fiery red locks that HE loved. SHE was never the most reasonable and SHE often got mad at the silliest things. But HE was still always there for HER- never letting go even in the worst times. Even when SHE was so obnoxious and said rude words. HE still stayed there for HER and every time HE dealt with her crap.

"I remember. And... I wish I took those opportunities and seized the moment. Wish I took more risks- wish I wasn't naïve and wish that I appreciated you more when... when you were still here for me."

HE replied and scowled, HE was still always there for HER, SHE just needed to call if SHE ever needed HIM. HE smiled wistfully before putting the letter on the coffee table. HE wished SHE had decided to take the risk when THEY were younger because then that would have been a far better life- while it lasted.
