"How long do you think I'll last before I completely change?"
Once again, a daffodil of the colors white and pink were enclosed within a letter. This time the paper that was enclosed was incredibly white compared to the drop of red right next to it. SHE disregarded it as perhaps just a drop of red paint despite the fact that HE never liked painting. Sometimes, the worst part is when someone that used to know every single aspect of you, now knows nothing.
Hidden behind the word "change," was the word "break." After all, there was only so far one could go before they would fall apart. Given the circumstances that HE had been through, unknown to almost everyone, it was quite surprising. HE was always to selfless for HIS own good... never planning on telling anyone as HE didn't want to bother others.
SHE had changed so many times over the years while HE never changed. SHE had gone through so many phases, but HE still stuck by HER side even though SHE was incredibly rude to HIM at times. One of the main stages that SHE went through was when SHE thought that no one would understand and was better.
SHE shunned HIM but HE still tried. What SHE didn't know was that that short period of time, something in HIM had changed. No one else saw it but it was the first stage of HIM being broken. Every single time SHE reached the end of HER phase, SHE claimed that it would be a new beginning.
"I can't ever imagine you being different. Despite everything, you were always the same guy that I grew up with."
When HE received the note, HE knew that there was truly no hope. There was no one that HE could actually rely on and maybe, maybe it was time to give up.
