Chapter 4

Mackenzie's P.O.V
I was so nervous for the date. I had just finished getting ready with a black long sleeve t-shirt dress and some converse so it wasn't to fancy. I had put on some mascara and concealer but nothing to much. Just then Ryder barged into my room and looked like he was about to say somthing untill he saw me. "Woah" I looked at him and he just looked confused, I chuckled at that. "May I help you?" He looks at me "where are you going dressed like that?" He said it in a worried tone, like he thought I was going to a Party or somthing. "A date." He looks shocked. "Are you sure? I mean after Jake I don't know if it's a good idea." I cringe at the thought of Jake. He was my ex boyfriend. My first eveything;
Date
Kiss
Sex
Love
Then he took advantage of me. And left. I don't know where he went but he left and I have never seen him since. But anywayyyy, I look back up at my brother who looks at me with a little concern. I hear the doorbell ring and I know it's Collin. I pull Ryder into a hug and head to the door.
Collins P.O.V
My hands are shaking as Mackenzie opens the door. She looks stunning. I try not to be rude by checking her out but woahhhhh. My thoughts are interrupted by someone clearing their throat. I look up and see that behind Mackenzie is an other looking guy and two guys who look just like her. I figure it's her older brother and twins. The older brother looks at me and pulls me really close to me. "Don't hurt her. She dosent need that in her life. Please take care of her and if you break her heart I'm going to break you." I am about to respond with a "yes sir." When I'm interrupted by Mackenzie. "Ryder stop! I'll be fine, Jesus" I chuckle. "You two may go then." I hold out my hand and look at her "shall we?" "We shall." And I grab her hand to lead her to the car.
"Where are we going???" She whines. "It's a surprise" she rolls her eyes. I pull the car into a park. It's a park with a board walk by a lake. At the end of the lake I set up a little picnic with candles and food. As I lead her there her eyes widen. I hope she likes it. "Oh my gosh, Collin... you did this?!" I nod. "It's amazing!" She pulls me into a hug and I'm noticing how happy she is. I smile at that.
Mackenzie P.O.V
The date was going great. It got silent and it seemed like he was going to say somthing but didn't know how. Suddenly he speaks up. "Do your brothers know?" I give him a confused look "your scars, do they know?" I answer with a "no, why?" Because it's a very random question. He explains that Ryder gave him a talk about how I don't need to be hurt anymore. He didn't know about Jake. I knew I should tell him. "He was talking about my last boyfriend." I tell the whole story and I didn't even realise I was crying until he pulled me in a big hug.
I cry into his shoulder and he runs his hand through my long blond hair. He pulls my face close to his, he is about to kiss me when I pull away, hurt flashed through his eyes but he covers it up. "Im sorry" I mumble "for what?" I look at him "I'm already your first date, and first kiss? I don't want you to make a mistake." He looks at me. Suprised. "The only mistake I made is not doing this sooner." With that he pulls me into a kiss, his soft lips against mine. It feels amazing, I never want to stop but we both pull away to catch our breaths. "That was amazing" he says and looks right into my eyes, "just like you."
