Chapter 8

                    Mackenzie's P.O.V
It's 2 am, I am half asleep when all of a sudden my phone starts ringing. I look and see that it's Collin so I answer it
"Yes?"
"Remember when I asked if you would run away with me?"
"Yes...?"
"Let's do it"
"What??? Tonight!?"
"Yes I'm on my way now"
"What no collin I can't"
Yes you- crap oh shittt ahhh"
*HONKKKKKK*

I Drop my phone and scream
What just happend?
I grab my jacket and start running
I run
I don't know where I'm going
But I run
I run untill my legs can't take it
I need to go to the hospital. So that's why I do, I run to the hospital. I relize that i don't know the way and get lost. I call Aidan because I know he is the one person that might pick up.
"Hello? Mackenzie?"
"I need you to pick me up" I say in between sobs
"What why??? Where are you?!"
"I don't know."
"Send me your location, I'll be there soon"
"Thank you"
         He arrives not long after and when we sees I'm crying he dosent start the car. "Take me to the hospital" he looks confused "only if you tell me what happend" I tell him the whole story and start crying even more "what if he- h-he d-d-die-died..?"
"Don't think like that Mackenzie"
                     Aidan's P.O.V
I call Ryder and Andrew and tell them what happend. They don't come to the hospital because well, it's 3am. But I wanted to make sure they knew. We where sitting in the lobby. Apparently they heard about the crash and got them both to the hospital but no one was allowed to go back there yet. I decided to call Chloe and ask her to come
"Hello?" She didn't sound tired at all
"Hey Chloe um... can you meet me and kenzie at the hospital?"
"Yeah why...?"
"Long story"
"K I'll be there soon
"Ok thank you"
I look Mackenzie "hey, everything is going to be ok, and Chloe's coming" she just nods her head. I felt so bad for her, I wish I could do somthing.
Mackenzie's P.O.V
I could not process what was happing. All of a sudden Chloe walked in and saw I was crying. She pulled me into a tight hug. "What happend" I didn't want to talk about it agine "ask Aidan" and nods.
The doctor walks out and says "you can go in, he isn't awake yet but I'm sure everything will be ok and he will be soon," with that I ran in. It broke my heart to see Collin laying there, motionless, broken. I sat on the chair next to him and held his hand in mine "oh Collin. This is all my fault! I am so sorry for doing this. It was awful of me and I'm so so so sorry. I hope you can forgive me because I do truly love you so much." I started crying to much, just then Aidan and Chloe walked in "this is all my fault!!!" I yelled Chloe brought me into a huge hug and held on tight "don't put this on yourself, please. It's going to be ok"
I sit on the couch by his bed and watch his motionless body. I listen to the sound of beep thing (idk what it's called) and before I know it I fall asleep.
I wake up and see that it's now 3 in the afternoon the next day... how long did I sleep? I look at Collin and see that he still is not moving. Aidan is sitting on the chair next to me and he is looking at his phone.
"Has he woken up yet?" Aidan shakes his head "but he will, I promise" I nod as a tear falls. "Kenzie. I hate to leave but I have to get back to school. I'll get the work you need." I nod "thank you" "call me if she wakes up." I nod agine. Then he leaves so it's just me and Collin in a hospital. But only I'm moving.

3 weeks later and Collin still hasn't moved.
I haven't left the hospital once.
The doctors say they don't know why he isn't awake. Somthing went wrong. But he is still alive.
              I'm sitting on the couch in his room looking out the window. All of a sudden I hear a voice. A very familiar voice "you stayed" I turn around and see Collin looking at me. Awake. I run over to him and hug him. He winces a little but then relaxes in my arms. "I never left." He looks at me "how long was I asleep?" "3 weeks" his eyes widen "you stayed in this hospital for 3 weeks!?" I nod "I thought you where going to die! I don't know what was happing. Oh gosh Collin I love you so much" "I love you to."
       The doctors rush in and began preforming random things on him. In the last one he passes out. "He will be awake in 2 hours. He will have to stay over night but can leave tomorrow at 12" I nod. "I'll stay with him." The doctor nods and leaves the room.

It's 2 hours later and he wakes up. "Hey" I smile at him "hey" "you can go on you know." I shake my head "no I think I'll stay. You can leave at 12 tomorrow and Aidan's going to pick us up and take us home. He nods "ok, and thank you for staying." "Anytime." "It's getting late you should sleep." I shake my head "I'm not tired" "I know you are now sleep" "will you be ok?" "I will I promise" I nod my head and before I know it I drift of to sleep.
