A/N: not edited sorry
This chapter will probably be a bit different, if you're a rereader I advise against skipping this, there will be changes. IT ALSO SUCKS ASSAdrien didn't even have to glance twice. The scenario was all too familiar for him. A girl in blood red with eyes bright blue. The ladybug theme contrasting with the cat theme he currently wore. Despite the piece of fabric layering her face, he could recognize her.
What Adrien couldn't understand was how Luka didn't seem to as he claimed to have arrived with her.
Marinette, I've found you, Adrien's giddy smile broadened as he eased her into a standing position. A chuckle sprung from his voice box at her repetitive clumsiness.
Sucks for Luka, his 'date' was right in front of Adrien, and he wouldn't let anyone change that.
"Sorry, Sir I-" Adrien interrupted her by lifting her hand to his already puckered lips and planting a kiss on it, bowing down while doing so.
Marinette scowled bitterly at his failed attempt to be a gentleman. Adriens forehead became damp, he stared at the floor in embarrassment.
Shoot, he swallowed shame the size of a hair ball . I was supposed to greet her, introduce myself, THEN kiss her hand.
Marinette slightly snarled, backing away abruptly. "Why must all men be such pigs!" She grumbled, unfortunately loud enough for a certain "pig" to hear.
A disgusting swine? Him? Never.
She pivoted to step away, but Adrien has already stomped down a stubborn foot to block her way. He wasn't about to lose this chance, not when he just found her. He was certain that the girl in front of him was Marinette, her enraged voice was quite easy to recognize.
"Wait!" Adrien gripped her delicate wrist, like it was porcelain, preventing her from moving forward. Her face snapped toward him. Marinette's lips were twisted, teeth bared.
"It's just that I appreciate your... assets?" Adrien wanted to swallow his foot after saying that. Perhaps he was a farm animal after all.
Instead of getting a snarky response he was waiting for, Marinette appeared to blush. It was like she'd never been openly commented by the male specimen. He almost missed it due to the camouflage of her mask.
The closer he looked at her cheeks, the more features were revealed upon her face. The small, spaced out freckles that slipped below the red fabric showed, dotted like the stars in the sky. The room spun as he internally fawned over her bluebell eyes.
A loud slap was heard.
Coming from his face.
His beautiful, flawless face.
It was then Adrien wondered when she would stop slapping his perfect skin during their interactions.
"Do you have no dignity?" Marinette looked like she would burn up by the heat that was evidently rising to her ears.
Adrien immediately noticed she wasn't blushing, but reddening in anger. He now knew that blushing don't actually exist. How could he forget? The first time the two interacted, he mistook her for blushing, the same thing happened.
"I'm sorry about my manners, Mar- Ma'am." He coughed, correcting his mistake, then straightening his back. "I was distracted by your beauty, forgive me."
Her pink lips turned, but bent into a tired smile. "It's fine, it's not like I would comprehend how you elite folk flirt." She sighed while picking at her dress.
