Blakes POV
I asked Antonio if we were going to go to school and he said yes. He then saw my guitar and asked if I could play. I replied only certain songs. Then he opened the case and saw my destroyed guitar. He asked what happened so I told him it got destroyed in a fight at school. Then he handed me £700 and told me to go get a new guitar. I thanked him then ran out of the hospital straight for hot topic. I know it's mostly clothes but there are also guitar straps and guitar picks. I grabbed a pack of plain black guitar picks and a strap that was black with skulls going down. I payed then went to the music shop and brought a plain black guitar case and a black guitar with flames going up the sides and front. When I payed I ran to the park. I found a part of the park that was empty. I sat down and started playing Better Off Dead by Sleeping With Sirens
She said she wants to end it all
When she's all alone in her room
She cries, the way she feels inside
Is too much for her

When all you've got is these four walls
It's not that hard to feel so small
Or even exist at all

How come no one heard her when she said

Maybe I'm better off dead
If I was, would it finally be enough
To shut out all those voices in my head?
Maybe I'm better off dead
Better off dead!
Did you hear a word, hear a word I said?
This is not where I belong
You're gonna miss me when I'm gone
Gone, gone
This is not where I belong
You're gonna miss me when I'm gone

She doesn't know she's beautiful
'Cause no one's ever told her so
And the demons that she hides
Are all she knows
And maybe she can fall in love
With someone in her life that she could trust
And tell her she's enough (will someone tell her she's enough?)

How come no one heard her when she said

Maybe I'm better off dead
If I was, would it finally be enough
To shut out all those voices in my head?
Maybe I'm better off dead
Better off dead!
Did you hear a word, hear a word I said?
This is not where I belong
You're gonna miss me when I'm gone
This is not where I belong
You're gonna miss me when I'm gone

When all you've got is these four walls
It's not hard to feel so small
When all you've got is these four walls
It's not hard for you to feel so small

All she wanted was to be enough
All she wanted was to be enough
So what does it take?
Maybe it's not too late

Yeah no one heard her when she said

Maybe I'm better off dead
If I was, would it finally be enough
To shut out all those voices in my head?
Maybe I'm better off dead
Better off dead!
Did you hear a word, hear a word I said?
This is not where I belong
You're gonna miss me when I'm gone
Gone, gone
This is not where I belong
You're gonna miss me when I'm gone
Gone, gone
This is not where I belong
You're gonna miss me when I'm gone

When I had finished I looked up and saw Kellin Quinn walking towards me. Then I heard shouting and saw Antonio walking up to Kellin. I ran and told him to stop and he looked confused. Then I turned around and asked Kellin if he could sign my guitar he nodded then he asked if I wanted to see the band live. I said yes as it was my biggest dream and he gave my 9 behind the stage and front row seats. He then walked off and Antonio walked up asking who he was. So I had to explain me being a fan of his band and everything. When we arrived back at the hospital Dylan ran up to me and asked where Quinn was so i told him she was with our dad. Then I walked into Rivers room he was slightly awake. I sat down and started playing random songs. When I finished Antonio told me we had to leave but i didn't want to leave my brother. I got up and left with Antonio anyway. When Antonio drove straight past the police station I was confused then he pulled up outside Firehouse 51. I asked why we were here and he just told me to sit on the grass and play my guitar so I did. I played Teenagers By My Chemical Romance
They're gonna clean up your looks
With all the lies in the books
To make a citizen out of you
Because they sleep with a gun
And keep an eye on you, son
So they can watch all the things you do
Because the drugs never work
They're gonna give you a smirk
'Cause they got methods of keepin' you clean
They gonna rip up your heads
Your aspirations to shreds
Another cog in the murder machine
They said all
Teenagers scare
The living shit out of me
They could care less
As long as someone'll bleed
So darken your clothes
Or strike a violent pose
Maybe they'll leave you alone
But not me
The boys and girls in the clique
The awful names that they stick
You're never gonna fit in much, kid
But if you're troubled and hurt
What you got under your shirt
Will make them pay for the things that they did
They said all
Teenagers scare
The living shit out of me
They could care less
As long as someone'll bleed
So darken your clothes
Or strike a violent pose
Maybe they'll leave you alone
But not me
Oh yeah
They said all
Teenagers scare
The living shit out of me
They could care less
As long as someone'll bleed
So darken your clothes
Or strike a violent pose
Maybe they'll leave you alone
But not me
All together now
Teenagers scare
The living shit out of me
They could care less
As long as someone'll bleed
So darken your clothes
Or strike a violent pose
Maybe they'll leave you alone
But not me
Teenagers scare
The living shit out of me
They could care less
As long as someone'll bleed
So darken your clothes
Or strike a violent pose
Maybe they'll leave you alone
But not me
When I had finished I heard clapping I looked up to see all the firefighters stood watching me then they all went in and Jay (or dad) came out and sat next to me. He then saw the signature on my guitar and asked when I saw Kellin Quinn so I told him about the park. He asked if he could hold my guitar I nodded and passed it to him. Immediately he he started strumming and I recognised it. He was playing Cheers By Sleeping With Sirens.
We're gutter punks and vagabonds
Street sweepers and tag alongs
Getting high on 5th avenue
Cuz we ain't got nothing to lose
The college kids and CEOs
Flunk outs and the got no hope
To all the ones at the end of they rope
Listen honey I'm a lot like you
Don't worry let me show you what to do

You say hey! Let's cheers to us
We're gonna be victorious
Don't matter what they say because
We march to a beat of a different drum
Hey! Let's cheers to us
Riot girls down on their luck
Shouldn't matter what they say because
We march to a beat of a different drum

To the mods and the hipster trips
You average joes and you working stiffs
Getting drunk in the hotel room
Cuz we ain't ever had a clue
Supermodels on the boulevard
Your drug dealers and your fresh ass cars
The ones we want, the ones we choose
Listen honey I'm a lot like you
Don't trip, let us show you what to do

You say hey! Let's cheers to us
We're gonna be victorious
Don't matter what they say because
We march to a beat of a different drum
Hey! Let's cheers to us
Riot girls down on their luck
Shouldn't matter what they say because
We march to a beat of a different drum

Hey na na na
Hey na na
Hey na na na na na na
(Of a different drum)
Hey na na na
Hey na na
Hey na na na na na na
(Of a different drum)

We all got something to lose
You only get one life to choose
Sticks and stones
But what does that prove
What does that prove

(Hey, let's cheers to us)

Hey! Let's cheers to us
We're gonna be victorious
Don't matter what they say because
We march to a beat of a different drum
Hey! Let's cheers to us
Riot girls and the give no fucks
Doesn't matter what they say because
We march to a beat of a different drum
He finished and looked at me holding a camera and just said you better not have recorded that. I just got up and ran into the firehouse and gave the camera to Antonio. Dad ran in and tried to tackle me but I moved and he ran straight into the counter then Antonio started playing the recording and the whole firehouse started laughing. Me and Antonio ran to his car and drove to the station where he connected it to all the speakers and started playing it just as dad walked in. I planned the whole thing with Antonio then left the DNA results on the camera. We then walked into Antonios office when Dad walked in holding the piece of paper. He just said is it true. I nodded trying not to cry. He came over and gave me a hug and I hugged him back. I asked where Quinn was and he told me she was with my Uncle visiting River. I then asked him how he knew the song and all the chords. He told me he went school with Kellin and they were in a band together. I then pulled out the 9 tickets and smiled so did he. He then saw one with my name on and read what it said. I asked why he was looking at that one and he said I was going on stage to sing. Then I asked when and he said tonight. He asked who I wanted to come so I made a list.
Dad,Quinn,River,Uncle Will,Antonio,Casey(truck 81 lieutenant),Severide(squad 3 lieutenant) and Gabby Dawson(Antonios sister).
Dad just nodded and called them all and said to meet ant the place to the concert. I then asked him when I was going school and he said next week. I then asked if I could go home and get changed he said Antonio had to go with me. I nodded then dragged Antonio out of the building.
When I was changed we went to the hospital to get River,Quinn and Uncle Will. Then I remembered it was River and Quinn's birthday.
Uncle Will asked why we had to go to a Sleeping With Sirens concert and Antonio just said because we do. When we arrived I went to dad and told him it was River and Quinn's birthday and he nodded. We then began to walk behind the stage and dad saw Kellin. Kellin asked why he was there so he said he was with his son then Kellin realised what he was talking about. Then the whole of My Chemical Romance walked in and asked for me so I followed. They got me on stage to play for them which I was very happy about. Then Kellin walked on and said for the stage to be cleared. I got to sing 5 songs alone and I chose Better Off Dead,Teenagers,Cheers,I'm not Okay and Don't threaten me with a good time. When I had finished we gent home and I went straight to bed.
