The change in life *Under Editing*

Chapter 17

Blakes POV
I woke up and I had two sleeping babies on me still. I picked them up and walked to the nursery where I put them in their cribs. I walked out and Jackson was sat drawing so I went over. I ask him what he's drawing and he says a zombie. I look at it and it's pretty good for a 4 year old.

I ask him for a piece of paper and he passes me one. I start drawing a zombie and it took me nearly 2 hours.

Melo walks in and asked what we were drawing. Jackson shouts zombies. I show her mine and she looks amazed. I left Jackson to continue drawing while I helped Melo cook tea. After we had finished the twins started crying so I cleared the table so Melo went to sort the twins out. When I was clearing Jackson asked if he could have a new room. I said maybe and he ran off to go bed. Melo came out and we both went bed.
Nightmare
I was with my team moving up the forest when we heard gunshots. We ran to hide and when me and Steve were hidden I looked in the direction of the gunfire to see one of my men shooting. I shouted at everyone to shoot but they all ended up getting shot. Steve took the shot that killed my man. We carried on through the forest to find the target had shot himself. We headed back to the helicopter and the general asked about everyone else. I said wiped out and he looked upset. He asked who so I told him he was shot dead.
I wake up to me being shaken. I feel sweat running down my arms and neck. I look at Melo and she looks worried. She asked why I was like that and I said nightmare. She asked what about so I told her. We cuddle and then Jackson runs in and said he had a nightmare. I look at Melo and say I have it. I walk him back to his room and he soon falls asleep. I sit on the floor next to him and fall asleep. After a while I get bored so I go into the living room and draw. I sit for about 4 hours until I hear crying. I walk into the nursery and pick Rylen. He calms down so I carry him out to the living room and carried on drawing with him on my lap. It get to 5:30 in the morning so I put Rylen back in his crib and go bed.

The Next Morning
I wake up before Melo and wake Jackson up. He asks why so I said Father/Son time. We got dressed then we left. I brought loads of wood planks and nails. We get home and Melo asked where we went. I said shopping then ate breakfast. When we had finished I told Jackson to get into old clothes. We go outside and start building. After 7 hours we finish. Jackson asks if he can go and get Melo. I nod then he runs in. Then Melo appears behind Jackson and says 'so this is the cause of all the noise then' Jackson falls over laughing.

I walk inside and get ready to go walking. Jackson runs in a tell him to have fun for a bit. I walk to the precinct and go straight to dads office. I ask him if he can have Jackson for a week. He asks why so I say surprise for him. He nods so I walk home. I grab Jackson overnight bag and pack it ready. When I am done I tell Jackson that he is sleeping at Grandads house. He asks which one so I say J. He nods then goes back out to his tree house.

One Week Later
I'm on my way to pick Jackson up. He has been gone all week because me and Melo have been redecorating his room. We arrive at the door and he runs out and gives me a hug. I grab his bag and we head home. When we step inside the house I blind fold Jackson. I lead him to his room and I put pirate themed music on. I then pull the blindfold off and Jackson begins to scream. Melo then walks in dressed like a pirate and I get toy guns and be start shooting each other. Then I helped Jackson make his bed and we sat talking for about an hour.
