Two Years Later
Blakes POV
I got woken up by Steve banging on the door. I opened it and he told me to pack and get to the truck as quick as possible. I got changed into my uniform and packed. I went to the truck and got in. Steve drove to the school and said he will drop my stuff off at the precinct. I nod and he drives off. I walk in and ask if it's possible to speak to the head. Then the head walks out and asks what I needed to talk to him about. I asked if there was anyway to call some students out of class for a bit. He asked who so I said River Halstead,Quinn Halstead,Ash Casey,Liam Casey,Logan Halstead,Hunter Halstead,Dylan Rhodes,Kira Rhodes and Robin Casey. He said I need ID to be able to see them then Steve runs in and hands me my badge. I show it to the head then he requests the student to go to his office. I hide outside then when they are walking into the office I go in. They all ask why they are in then I walk in and say don't you want to see me. Then I get surrounded by hugs. I ask River if Melo was working and he nodded. I say bye then walk to the firehouse. She has her back to me when I arrive. I walk up behind her and give her a hug. She turns around and hugs me. She asks if I want to meet my new child. I look at her and say what kind of question is that. She goes and asks Chief if she can leave for a bit. She comes back and we leave. When we get to our house I see Luna there holding a baby. I smile then Jackson runs in and jumps at me saying daddy. I pick him up and give him a hug. I hand him to Melo and take the baby from Luna. Luna then leaves and I sit down still holding the baby. Then I hear crying and Melo leaves the room. She comes back holding another and I start laughing. She says your holding Nova and I'm holding Rylen. I smile then she hands Rylen to me so I'm sat on the sofa holding both babies. I ask her if she can call my dad and ask him to bring my stuff here. She nods then walks out the room to make the call. She comes in and says he's on his way. I look at her and say but one way is in hospital and the other is teaching. She slaps my arm then Jackson runs in and sits next to me. There is a knock at the door and Melo opens it. Dad walks in and says pinned already and you didn't even see me first. I look at him and say but I saw you several times when I was deployed. Dad then leaves and Melo goes back to work. I sit on the sofa for a while then fall asleep.
