Chapter 17

           "Damn . ." He walked slowly towards Jun and his mom, squatting in front of them. "What should I do? It didn't go as I plan. I don't want to kill you . . . but I left with no choice. You . . ." He use the gun pointing at Jun's face. "Especially you . . . I came to like you." He took a long breath before sighed heavily. "Such a waste. Blame her." Jong Kyu stared at Mrs. Kim before looking back at Jun. "She's the reason you're now involving in this matter. If you don't meet a mother like her, you would be living a good life.

          Jun just listen to it quietly. Have no intention to interrupt him.He had to do anything to drag time for Myung Soo to be there. Even if it mean for him to has a useless conversation with his enemy.

          "Don't kill him." Mrs. Kim begged, trembled. She dragged herself close Jong Kyu. "Instead kill me!!" She yelled in front of his face.

          A smirk appeared on his face, despite got yelled. "What is this? Drama? Don't worry about that. You're the first one I'll kill." His face changed to a serious one.

          "Did something happen? You must be already caught by the police. Am I right? To the extent you can't escape anywhere anymore." Jun voice out, spewing out nonsense. But judging by Jong Kyu' face seems like it's not a nonsense.

          "This is why I like you. He's smart. Right. I don't have anything to hide from you. What you said is right. That's why I need to kill you."

          "If you kill me, do you think you'll be save from any punishment? With drugs . . ." Jun dragged the last words, while his eyes enjoying Jong Kyu's surprised face.

          He took some time before answered. " Seems like you guys have a deep conversation. Way more than I though. Wait . . . did both of you make up already? Like a normal mom and son?"

          "Shut up." Mrs. Kim gritted her teeth. Holding herself from slap that man.

          "Why?" He smiled. Ass if he's having fun teasing both of them. "You should thank me instead. I made you guys sit here and reconcile. Good!" Jong Kyu nodded his head while stood up. "You guys should reconcile . . . before both of you die. Then I guess we'll have to say goodbye here." He extended his hand in front of Jun. He was about to pull the trigger.

          "Wait!!" Mrs. Kim stopped him, shivering. 'Please think of something!' Urged Mrs. Kim to herself. She racked her brain. "I . . . still have more evidence left."

          "I don't care since you're gonna die anyway."

           "It's not here. . . but it's in a place that easy for the police to find." She paused in the middle tried to come up with something believable. She wished he took the bite.

           Jong Kyu looked hesitant. "What? related to drug. It's no use. Since I've been caught . . . I just don't want to get caught with murder." As he said that he scoffed, feeling pathetic at himself for willing to caught with one crime rather than two.

          "It' not about drug. . . that night when you kill that girl. I had an evidence." Mrs. Kim used what Jong Kyu said to hook him and she succeed when Jong Kyu glared at her with an expression saying 'What??

          "Not only that . . ." Jun looked over Jong Kyu's expression. Jong Kyu was waver. His eyes moved to the left and right restlessly. "Everything that happen here is being watch."

          "What?"

          He believed it!! Stupid! Jun cursed Jong Kyu. If someone was watching them of course he wouldn't still be there. Anyway it's a good thing. Jun thought of what he should do next. And he kept praying for Myung Soo to arrive fast.
