Well, Saturday is getting a long time to come. Not to say that I was excited, just utterly annoyed that it was just Tuesday - which is four days away from Saturday. I'm not usually this impatient, but this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Okay, maybe I exaggerated.

Anyways, I probably dragged myself to school. Let's just say, although I care about my grades and all that, I get lazy too. The only reason I go to school is to talk to my friends, eat and see him.

Finally, the bell rang, signaling the end of Biology and I stood to collect my things and went to Isabelle, Anna, Louis and Al who were waiting for me at the door. I was confused why they had all this huge grins on their faces, so I decided to ask them.

"Guys, what's with the faces? It kinda creeps me out."

"Advance Happy Birthday!" They all said in unison. I thought for a second and realized it. I facepalmed myself and groaned. When I raised my head, they were looking at me. Then Anna probably realized it and said,

"Wait, don't tell us you forgot about your birthday?" I just raised my hands and drop it back to my side. "What the - ? How can even someone forget their birthday?" She gaped at me. I sighed.

"It just passed my mind. Especially, of all the things running in it."

"You mean, Mitch, Mitch and, umm, did I say Mitch?" Isabelle said, I slapped her in the arm and felt a slight blush crept upon my face. We laughed, while Al and Louis just shrugged. What's with those two?

We all went to the cafeteria and while Al and Louis bought our food, Isabelle, Anna and I went to a vacant table near the glass window. The view was of the school's field, and some students were chatting and having lunch by the bleachers. I stare at the field for a moment then Al and Louis handed us our food. Luis gave me my carbonara pasta, iced tea and brownies.

"Thanks." I smiled at Louis and he just raised his eyebrows and nodded. He sat beside me, while Anna and Al on the opposite side of us and Isabelle in the middle.

"So, what are you planning for your birthday?" Isabelle said. "Y'know, instead of going to the cinema." She wiggled her eyebrows and a faint blush appeared on my face and I smiled.

"Hmm, how about I treat you all to the cinema?" I suggested. They thought about it for a second and then nodded in response. We then ate in silence and then the bell rang. Louis and Isabelle weren't done eating. So, we urged them to eat faster and like have a contest on who finishes first. Isabelle finished faster than Louis and then he finished a few seconds after. We all rushed to our classes, because we were almost late.

Finally, it was my last period. Isabelle and I went in our AP History class and I already saw Mitch seated at the row before the last wearing a white printed shirt and some jeans with yellow rubber shoes. Come to think of it, I really haven't seen him today, just now. Isabelle and I seated on our usual place and not a few minutes later, Mr. Travis enters the room and he arranges his paperworks on the table then clears his throat. Then he starts writing our lesson and questions to answer. We all jot down what's written on the board and the class was quiet. I glanced at Mitch - who was focused on his work - and returned to writing.

The bell rang and that means classes are over. Mitch was the first one out of the door and I was thinking on why he's on a rush. I try to put it at the back of my mind and start getting my things and Isabelle and I went to our lockers. I stuffed the things I won't need and closed it and Isabelle also closed hers and she looked at me sleepily while rubbing her eyes. I breathed out a laugh and wrapped my hand around her shoulders and we went out the school. She went to her service and Anna and I went to a nearby store, because we were hungry.
