Part 7

I woke up in Rem's room, with something wet, touching my neck.  I slowly got my vison back as I saw Lindo, placing a rag back into a bowl of water.  I watched as he squeezed the rag, letting water and blood drip from it. I studied the blood as my eyes widen, and I suddenly got thirsty.   Lindo looked at me as he chuckled.  "What's with the look Ava?" he said silently.  I didn't speak, just concentrated on the bloody rag.  I felt the thirst grow, as I craved it more.  Why did I want a taste so badly?  Was I turning into a vamp myself?

I picked up my arm as I reached for the rag.  "No Ava, let me finish" Lindo said as he brushed my hand, and patting my neck again.  I looked at the water that had a single drop of blood.  I looked at the drop as the craving grew. "I'm thirsty" I said reaching for the glass.  Lindo gasped as he picked the bowl up quickly.  "No, what are you doing?" he asked in shock.  "The blood, it looks so good" I said as I continued to study it.  Lindo looked at the bowl as Rem and Mage walked in.  "Is she alright?" Rem asked.   "Take the bowl away" Lindo said sternly.  "Why what's go..." "Stop talking Rem, and take the bowl away.  Now."  Rem nodded as he took the bowl away from Lindo, then went back to his thing.

I watched as Rem put the bowl up on the burrow by the door.  I just looked at the blood in the bowl as Mage got in my view.  "Hey, you ok?" he whispered as he started rubbing my head.  I didn't speak at first, just looked up at him.  "Do you want me to get Urie" he asked, trying to keep his voice low.  "I need....Blood" I said as I felt light headed again.  Mage looked at me confused, then at the bowl of water and blood. "Does she want anything?" Rem asked, looking at Mage.  Mage didn't answer, just looked at the bowl, then at me.  I noticed his eyes squint as he tried to focus.  "Wait a minute" he said as he pulled back my hair, seeing the bite marks from what Subaru left. He gasped as he backed up.  "This ain't good" he said, starting to freak.  Rem looked at him as he brushed his hand around my cheek.  Quickly I grabbed it, studying his arm. I rolled up Rem's sleeve as I studied it.  His arm seemed good and full of nutrients. I didn't quite understand why it looked good, but it did.  I pulled his arm closer as I licked it, getting the warmth of his blood.  Then I gasped in shock.  "You have blood" I said as I looked up at him.  He studied me with confusion, then got shocked himself.  "You're a vamp now?" I gasped as my eyes, widen in surprise.  Rem nodded as he spoke.  "Help yourself" he said, pushing his arm closer to me. I gasped at the thought.  "You want me to bite you?"  Rem nodded as he closed his eyes.  "Just not too much" he said as he pushed his arm closer to me.

I looked at him as I bit into his arm, getting some of his blood.  It felt refreshing but disgusting at the same time. I continued to drink as I closed my eyes, then opened them, realizing what I was doing.  I didn't know what to do at this point, so I let loose of his arm, feeling more stronger than before.  "Feeling better?" he asked as I lied back down.  I nodded as I rolled on my side.  "Thank you Rem" I said as I fell asleep, resting with the taste of blood.
