It'd been months since the defeat of the newborn army I was currently 4 months along I walked onto the balcony overlooking the others as they prepared for the wedding I rubbed my belly my hair was much longer now it reached the middle of my back now I never had the time to cut it but Alice insisted that I keep it I watched as Bella left to go home Charlie supposedly took the news better than she thought

"Dana"i heard esmes sweet voice making me turn around she smiled at my belly I knew how much having a child to take care of meant to her that's why I asked her to be the godmother

"come I made you something to eat"she said tugging me down the stairs I was a bit sad that I couldn't transform while I was pregnant

"how's the wedding coming along?"I asked her Alice hold her arms with mine

"great everything will be perfect you'll see"she said I nodded see me and Bella still weren't talking she never apologized for kissing Jacob and I avoided her to the best of my abilities and when we were forced to communicate I'd ignore her call me childish all you want I didn't care for anyone's apologies not anymore I was done chasing after Jacob

The next day it was the wedding day Alice pushed me into a chair moving from my hair to Bella's

"What did I say about beauty sleep?"Alice said

"Sorry, bad dream It was wedding jitters"bella said I rolled my eyes

"Do you need some help? I could do her hair"rosalie said entering the room

"Really?"Bella asked

"Please I'm not offended by your choice of groom"rosalie said

"Just my blatant lack of respect for mortality"Bella said nodding

"Essentially"rosalie said

"Weddings They bring everyone together don't they Dana?"Alice asked me I looked up as she gets out my dress

"yeah they sure do"i said trailing off as I heard the voices outside the room

"Alice? Bella?"I heard Rene call out I struggled to stand up Alice lending me a hand

"I should go get dressed no telling how long it's gonna take me"i told her she saw right through me but nodded I walked passed the swans giving them a tight smile I went straight to esmes room to see her waiting for me

"oh I can't wait to see it"she said taking it from me she pulls it out gasping of course it was black where was I going to a funeral?

"I was coming to lend a hand"edward said chuckling I shook my head

"I haven't seen my mother since I was 3 Paul 6 my dad is an alcoholic I have no family"i said as I got dressed in the dress

"what about your pact?"Esme asked zipping up the back

"I'm a Rouge wolf now I don't have a pact anymore"i said looking down at my painted nails they were the color of black I wore some black flats

"but you have a family you have us"esme said I gave her a tight smile

"Thanks"i said I turned around and walked out of the bathroom

"what do you think? Good enough for a pregnant woman?"I asked Edward as I spun around in a circle

"it's perfect for a pregnant woman"he says I waved him off

"stop before you make me cry"i said blushing there was a knock at the door

"it's time"carsile said Edward hugs me gently before he leaves

"you look beautiful"he said I smiled I wasn't going to the wedding

"you look handsome as always"i said as he takes esmes hand and leaves hopefully tonight goes as planned or could happen right?

(time skip)

"okay I think that's all...."Edward was cut off by me rushing towards him

"wait! wait!"I called out stopping at the stairs I tried catching my breath Edward rubs my back I took the mic from him

"before tonight is over with I wanted to say congratulations to both of you you really deserve to be together"i said Bella blushes as Edward takes his seat beside her

"Bella I'm sorry I'm so sorry for the way I've been treating you Bella you're my best friend okay? No matter what mistakes we make no matter what"i told her tearing up a bit

"Edward you're like my brother and I don't know what I would do without you you are way better of a person than anyone could ever think"i told him he gives me a smile I looked at Bella's parents

"and Rene and Charlie thank you for raising Bella the way you did thank for standing by her and letting her know that she is loved no matter what"i said I tried to hold it together

"you guys enjoy the rest of your night"i said my voice breaking at the end I quickly rushed away and onto the patio

"I figured you'd be out here"i heard a familiar voice I whipped around in shock he didn't look angry at all
