I sat on the couch next to esme for some reason I just had to be around her maybe it was her maternity warmth rubbing off on me

"Are you cold?"Edward asked

"no she's shivering cause she's excited"i said sarcastically Edward shoots me a glare I wiggled my eyebrows at him

"I got it"Jacob said

"don't you always"i said before groaning Rosalie rubs my back I coughed Jacob moved to get up

"it's okay I'm fine"i assured him

"Don't do that"he tells Bella I rest my head against the pillow on esmes lap

"What?"she asked

"Smile like I'm your favorite person in the world"he said glancing at me

"You're one of them Feels complete when you're here, Jake"Bella said

"don't get used to it"i snorted

"Dana"jacob warned I rolled my eyes

"you act like she's the only one pregnant here actually I'm not sure what the hell to that"i said and sat back against the couch

"We need to find a way to get some food into her system"esme said changing the subject back to Bella I'm honestly sick of it

"If I could only see the fetus..."Rosalie cuts Alice off

"The baby...."she said

"Maybe I could figure out what it wants"alice said ignoring rose

"Think you might be right. Jacob just had an idea"edward said I looked at Jacob

"It wasn't an idea. It was a snide comment"he said

"what were you thinking?"Bella asked I sighed again

"That it's probably just looking for someone to sink its teeth into"jacob said not being able to hold back his grin

"He's thirsty"bella said

"I know the feeling"emmett said

"If it's craving, it's not gonna want animal blood"edward said

"I have some O negative laid aside for Bella"carsile said Alice gets up

"Walk with me"she said to Jasper who follows her so does Rosalie and Emmett Carlisle pours blood into a cup for Bella to drink

"Wait, wait, wait You're gonna make her drink that?"Jacob asked

"It's the fastest way to test the theory"carsile said

"Only if you're comfortable with it"edward said

"I'll try anything"bella said Edward gets up

"Just hold on"he said going into the kitchen

"I think I'm gonna be sick"jacob said coming to sit beside me

"take me to the bathroom I'm gonna throw up"i said Jacob picks me up and rushes me to the bathroom he rubs my back as I vomited in the toilet it was a good thing my hair was in a bun

"You'd risk your lives for her?"I hear Jacob ask Carsile and esme

"Of course we would. Bella's a part of our family now and so is Dana as much as you two hate to accept it"esme said that melted my heart I always felt a bond with Esme maybe it was because I never had a mother of my own

"Yeah. I can see that. This really is a family As strong as the one I was born into. I know what I have to do"jacob said before he left

"it's not true ya know"i heard Jasper say I turned to see him leaned against the counter

"you're talking to me?"I asked I was making myself 2 grilled cheese sandwiches he chuckles

"yes I'm talking to you"he said grabbing a cup of apple juice and sliding it over to me I immediately opened it

"what's not true?"I asked drinking some and grabbing the skillet and sitting it on the counter

"we care about you"he said he chuckles again

"believe it or not but you're like a little sister to me"he said I gave him a small smile

"thanks jasper"i said

"No problem"he said I nodded before taking my plate to the living room sitting beside Bella who grabs the other sandwich

"if you weren't my best friend I'd skin you alive"i said she laughs and drinks her blood Jacob walks back in the house

"Bella took my sandwhich"i said sending a glare her way she rolls her eyes I got up going over to stand by his side he leans down placing a kiss on my lips I hummed wrapping my arms around his waist hands on his back before pulling away
