It took a while to round up the people inside the building, but they all eventually packed up the rest of their stuff and crammed it into the rediculuosy tiny bus. Carmin looked around at the little, abandoned warehouse they had spent the night. It was crumbling in places, the stairs creaked and groaned from the slightest touch, and the ceiling was leaking everywhere, but it was deffinately a change from sleeping in a tent. It was cozy and seemed to be a lot safer.

Carmin shook her head and sighed mentally, exhausted. She hesitantly boarded the bus, the familiar stink of sweat immediately reaching her nose. She covered her mouth and her nose with her hand, and breathed in through her mouth, disgusted. It already looked like this was going to be a very, very long trip. Carmin walked cautiously down the isle, her feet shuffling against the floor. She spotted Blake and his group near the back of the bus and offered him a wave of her hand and a small smile. His face lit up when he saw her, but he made no move to go and sit next to her; her just nodded his head, a rediculous smile on his face.

Carmin sniggered and sat down in the seat she had sat down in the other day, and looked out the window of the bus, her mind sorting through all the confusing and disturbing thoughts and memories in her head. She was mostly focused on Mrs. Hurts, and why she had exploded. No one had ever exploded, no matter how deep or how deadly the bite they reseaved. So why had she?

Carmin shook her head and exhaled, the tension in her shoulders and back slowly making a migraine form. Damn. Mumbling to herself about her cursed life and very vicious monsters, she pressed her head against the cool glass of the window, a soft groan escaping her lips. Lately, she had been having more and more migraines, more often. Carmin sniffed and raised her head, rubbing the back of her head with her hand. She shook her head and reached for.her backpack, which she had placed on the ground earlier. She rummaged through her bag before retrieving the book she had been reading, Old Yeller. She rifled through the pages, searching for the chapter she had been at.

About two hours later, Colton had the bus driver stop, saying that some of the little kids needed a bathroom break. Carmin sighed, annoyed. If they could just get to a safe place before dark, she would feel a lot better. She sat in her seat, waiting for the little kids toget back, when she felt a soft tap on shoulder. She looked up to see Blake, but instead of his usual played back expression, his face was twisted into a concentrated frown.

"Carmin, I really need to talk to you," Blake said, his voice shaking with fear. Carmin just stared at him, confused and frightened. She just noddedin reply.

Blake sighed relieves, but his body was still tense. "Oh, Thank God. Ok, it's only about an hour before we reach a rest stop. When you get off the bus, come find me, got it?"

Carmin nodded, but their conversation was disturbed when the bus driver spoke over the intercom.

"Ok, everybody, sit back in your seats and we will continue our trip."

Blake sighed and ran a hand over his face.. "Ok, bye Carmin. Remember, meet up with me when we get to the rest stop." Blake mumbled a terse good bye, before turning and walking back down the isle, toward his seat.

Carmin stared after him, confused. What just happend?
