Chap. 4 -The game

I raced to my shower ! Scrubbing the grease out of my body. Which took a good 30 minutes. All I was thinking about is I have to look good. Finally found a cute black bodycon with black sandals. I didn't know what to do with my hair . I just did a messy bun. So it could look like I didn't try. I did my makeup .Making sure I added a good amount of highlight. So I can be popping in the dark. I quickly grabbed my charged phone , keys,side bag and a jean ripped jacket. I went to the kitchen cabinet and got two gatorade and a honeybug. While walking to my car all I could think of was "Would Logan even notice me". I drive to school in a peaceful silent which was needed because my anxiety was driving me crazy. Finally reaching there, I walked through a packed crowd. Looking at the time I saw it was 9:50.I started searching for Nova.

"Mya ! Mya!" I heard causing me to turn around seeing Nova sitting with a group of people. I never seen in my life.

"Hey boo" I said

"Damn girl you looking nice. When you gonna let me borrow your lipstick cause that red is popping"

"Girl thanks"

"Your man was playing the whole game. You messed most the game. "

"He is not my man. But are we winning or losing the game." I said looking confused

"We are losing ! The only person that's highkey trying is Logan"

I couldn't help but smile

"Where's Abel"

"He got in trouble with coach so he benched."

The talk spook person said the game was over and our school lost. I couldn't help but to be a little excited. I finally have a chauffeur. I started following Nova towards the football field. I saw Logan and he looked pissed. I didn't know if I should go by him or just avoid him.But my feet lead me towards him. We both was staring at eachother . He was looking at me with lust and anger. I did the most unbelievable thing and hugged him. Seconds later he hugged me back and pulled me closer to him.

"Ok Ok you smell dude" this caused him to laugh and try to hug me again

"You're definitely my sour patch" he said while grabbing me.

" So I will need you to pick me up after school . I need to go the mall chauffeur"

"Anything for you" he said while looking at my red lips

"You like my lipstick"I said while doing a weird duck face so he can see my lipstick

"Hell yah! You look bad asf " He said admiring my look . I couldn't help but to blush

"Oh here! I brought you two gatorade and a honey bun"

"Thanks ! I really appreciate it "

"No problem my chauffer has to eat"

"Ayye Logan! Couch want you. He mad." A tall dreadhead said looking at like I'm a snack. Which made me feel unconformable

"Ight imma be there in a minute" The dreadhead guy left causing Logan to turn back to me

"I have to go but can I have your number. "

"Na! I said you have to work for my number. We just meet. Not everyone gets my number" I said smiling. This cause Logan to pick me up and act like he was going to drop me

"You better not drop me.If I fall you're falling with me. Where in this together buddy " I said grabbing him

"I don't care! I am already dirty" He said trying to act like he was going to drop me
