"What the hell are you doing here," he asked grabbing my hand and leading me outside.
"I came to dance, " I said looking down. We soon reached his car. We both got in and drove home and silent. All I am thinking about is that imma get my ass whopped. I never got my ass whopped before. I am nervous. How does it feel? Will I be able to sit after that? I asked myself
" Why the hell you crying I didn't even touch you yet," my dad said looking down at me. I noticed tears were following down my cheeks. I am such a scary cat. I never got yelled at by my dad.
"You better stop crying. You weren't crying when you were being grown on the dance floor" he said parking and getting out the car. I followed him into the living room. Waiting for him to yell or whoop my ass. He started pacing back and front. Ellais walked into the living room looking confused.
"What's going on," he asked walking towards me.
"Imma get my ass whopped," I said crying harder
"Ayye Ezra hurry up and get the camera. Mya gonna get her ass whopped" Ellais yelled
Ezra raced downstairs with a camera and a damn tripod
"Dad you can continue," Ellais said sitting down.My dad just looked at Elllais shaking his head
"What were you thinking," my father asked. I just stared at him. Too scared to answer
"So now you think your grown. You can't answer me. I said WHAT WAS YOU THINKING" he said staring at me
"I thought it was just a party," I said looking down
" Just a DAMMN party. The Damm place was called Kings." my dad said
"Damn pops she went to your Club. Damn Mya you a dumbass. You could have gone to a different club. You know damn well when you see a club named Kings. It's pops business. " Ellais said and Ezra nodded
"Why are you guys even in this conversation," I said getting mad crying harder
"Eww! You look so damn ugly when you cry. Change your face." Ellais said
"You're grounded for a whole month-" my dad said
"Only a fucking month," Ellais asked
"Watch your mouth," my dad said looking at Ellais
"Man that's Fucked up. I mean that's messed up. Dad, we are not those family in the movies. We do not ground each other.That is not fair. I remember when I cheated on my math quiz last year you whopped my ass. Mind you I was 18 years old and a senior."Ellais said and Ezra started rolling on the floor.
"I am not done Ka'mya you will be grounded which means no car and you have to be home when the street light comes on. " my dad said then walked off
"Damn don't the street lights come on at 5 pm. You can't even stay after school" Ezra said laughing
"I heard you have a boyfriend," Ellais said
"Yes! I am going out with Rakim" I said
" RAKIM," Ezra asked
"Yes"
"Why! That is kind of weird"
"How is that weird"
"You finally have a boyfriend"
"Yes because I just want to be loved"
