Chapter 5

                                                 Rosie's pov.
My second class had just ended and I was waiting in the library for jade,lilac and Ember. I yawned for I had woken up in the middle of the night and went downstairs to find a boy with blue eyes named Hugo. He was up and sketching something that seemed to look like a badger wearing the hufflepuff colors. He noticed me and stopped the flute that was playing magically by his right ear. "Hi. My names Rosie. Sorry if I started you." I said "oh you didn't startle anyone. I was just sketching. It's quite loud up there don't you think?." He said. I instantly notices his soft voice and could tell why he had been put in my great great great grandmothers house. We talked the rest of the night and I learned he to had a Pygmy puff whose name was ingwald. Ingwald was one week older than Narvela and he was the color of blue. Hugo told me stories of his mum and dad. He told me jokes his dad Ron told him and told me how his older sister rose was terribly boring and would be better off in the Ravenclaw house. I laughed at that fact. I then told him that I was fascinated by the past of the quibbler so I would love to edit it. He smiled at that. Said he could see me and Narvela working there. We had a pleasant night and then went back up to our beds after.

I was sitting in the library and Jade walked in shortly. "Hey Rosie, how are you. I was so happy when I got your note to meet you. So how's your house. I wanna hear all about your first day." I was surprised she could get all those words out in one breath." Hey breathe jade, my first night was good. I met one kid named Hugo. He's really nice." I told jade. Shortly after that Lilac and Ember walked in. "Hey guys how are you, me and jade were just catching up." Ember looked at me and giggled" how are you Rosie. How was your first night. Our house is good. Have you met any girls or guys yet."I smiled and told them all about Hugo and how Narvela is starting to get used to the dorm. They chuckled at the fact that Me and Hugo instantly clicked. We then decided that we would meet in the library after our second class each day.

Jade and ember went to look for a book on flying and lilac stayed behind I could tell she wanted to tell me something. " so is Hugo sweet?" She asked " ummm... I guess. I mean he talked to me the entire night until the sun came out and he was the only guy that would talk to me at all. Plus he loved Narvela so much." She smiled " the Yule ball is coming soon" she hinted " and guys ask the girl." He wouldn't ask me though. I'm just a girl that was bound to be in hufflepuff." I said. Lilac smiled " there's a boy in my house too. His names Dan, he stayed up and played wizards chess with me. He tried to sit next to me  but his friend Nigel sat next to him." Lilac smiled happy to have gotten him off her chest." Well you should go for him, lilac" I said. Jade and ember came out and we just told each other about our houses and Jade made us laugh when she told us about the kids in her house " pass the h2o" she mimicked at least until a boy came out from behind a bookshelf. He was obviously a ravenclaw and Jade quickly changed her opinion. Well I better get off to my third class. See you three later. We all stared at her until she was gone. All of a sudden Hugo popped out from behind a shelf. " sorry girls, didn't mean to startle you." He smiled. I blushed. " it's ok, Hugo you didn't frighten us. That's ember and Lilac." I said pointing to the girls" Right then the bell rang. We went to our classes.
