Chapter 6

                                            Embers pov.
We met Rosie in the library and when the bell rang we went our own ways. Me and lilac went to defence against dark arts. And then we had care for magical creatures. With Rosie that is. Hagrid taught us about Pygmy puffs and Rosie was able to bring narvela. Hugo hung out with us and wouldn't stop looking at Rosie. He also was very caring to her. He made sure narvela was warm and Rosie was warm. He's very charming and Rosie seemed to like him too. Lilac seemed to blush whenever a boy named Dan walked by. He would look at her too. All of a sudden the class ended and we went to the great hall. There the night sky shone above and me and lilac laughed at our houses jokesters. Rosie seemed to be having a fine time with Hugo. She smiled and laughed. She got up when she finished and came over saying she was extremely tired. I smiled and went back to eating. They started having the  desert brought out. I got up once and that was only to wake Rosie. Later on that night Rosie sent a owl to me asking us to meet her in the library tomorrow. I sent her back a note saying we would be there. I was tired so I laid down right before remembering limber. I got up and walked up to the owl tower. I came back and decided to sit out by the fire. A boy who had been sorted shortly before jade had, came down. "Hello, your ember malfoy. Aren't you. I'm Sam hilly." He said " yes I am. How do you remember me. Most people still call me malfoy girl." He chuckled. He went back upstairs and I silently read my book. Shortly after I decided I wanted to go and start on my homework for potions. It was a hard class and could tell flying would be my best. Sam came back down and started talking to me. He asked me questions but got lost in his voice it was soft but at the same time it made me feel safe. He went back upstairs as well as me when the sun started to come up.

Lilac came down with me and Sam smiled along with the boy whose name happened to be Dan. We then went down to the great hall then out to watch the quidditch practice. We noticed Rosie was out there watching Hugo practice. We went and sat next to her making fun of her. Hugo would smile at times and when they had a quick break would come over to talk with her. She told us that his aunt was a great quidditch player and married the youngest (and quickest) seeker there was. She was obviously good friends with him. After practice we went to our first class and Hugo walked Rosie. Sam and Dan met us right outside the door "so you like a quidditch player huh lilac " Dan said. Lilac just scoffed but blushed as she ran to her seat. After class we went to divination and Dan sat next to lilac and Sam next to me. My face turned bright red. And so did lilacs. After class we hurried to the library to see Rosie. Jade had obviously heard the news already cause She was smiling a huge smile. " hagrid has asked me to be the Hogwarts animal caretaker!" Said Rosie " really. It's only the second day of school." I said " I know but I love animals and he said for the first few weeks he would help me get used to them. Plus he said Narvela could have play dates when I babysit all the other students pygmy's!" I smiled and nodded my head. She seemed very happy and now I knew why she was so tired. We all left for our third class.

Me and lilac had defence against dark arts. We learned about werewolves. It was a boring topic and I could tell even lilac (this was her favorite class) was bored, she was sleeping. Afterwards we had care for magical creatures. Hagrid was happy as always. Rosie too.
