The girls with the pink hearts

Chapter 1

Rosie's pov
I got on the train and waved good bye to my mom and went looking for a compartment. I reached the fourth compartment and looked inside. There were three girls who were obviously friends. I knocked on the door and one hoped up and came over. "Can I sit here?" I asked. " of course" answered the girl. I walked in and looked around." Hi my names Rosie, Rosie hufflepuff. And you are?" I asked. The girl who had opened the door for me answered almost immediately "my names ember and the one reading the book is Jade. The one that is looking out the window is lilac. We've been besties since pre-wizard school." Lilac looked at me and waved as I could tell she had too many chocolate frogs. Jade looked up from her book and said hi. " so what house do you want to be sorted into Rosie?" Asked Ember obviously the talkative one. " I would love to be sorted into hufflepuff. And you?" I shared. " well me and lilac want to be in griffindor and jade wants to be in ravenclaw. What pet do you have Rosie?" She asked "Oh I have a Pygmy puff. Her name is narvela" I shared. " oh how cute" said lilac. That had been the first time I had heard her voice and could tell she was the hyper one. Jade looked out her window and so did we. " wow is that Hogwarts." Screamed lilac. Jade just nodded her head. "Yeah it is"

We followed our care for magical creatures teacher, hagrid, into the hall. There we saw floating candles and 4 long tables all decorated with the colors of yellow, red, blue, and green. Above us was the night sky and I gaped at how beautiful it all was. As we walked up Professor Mcgonagall greeted us and the called out names to get sorted. Then the students walked up as the hat called out their houses " hilly, Sam- griffindor... Mcdivly, lilac- griffindor... Decamoire, jade -ravenclaw" then it came to my name " Hufflepuff, Rosie- hufflepuff" there came a cheer from the second to last table as I ran down to sit. Then came embers name " malfoy, ember- griffindor?" There came a sudden uproar of mumbles like "a malfoy?" And "mental. That hat" Ember jumped up and sat down next to Lilac not listening.

After the feast we went back to our dorms I got in my dorm to find narvela fast asleep right on my pillow! I picked her up making sure not to wake her and set her on the tiny bed I had quilted for her and opened the quibbler I brought from home. I then realized I Hadn't checked my schedule yet and pulled it out of my bag the schedule went something like this

Hogwarts class schedule:
charms
Potions
Flying
Care for magical creatures
Herbology
Divination
Defense  against dark arts
-------------------------------
I couldn't wait for the next day and decided I was going to quickly send a house owl to ember and jade to meet me in the library.

I sent them a note that said this

Dear ember (or jade) ,
Meet me at the library tomorrow right after your second class can't wait to see you. Also tell Lilac that her owl is so cute and tiny! Bye.

I laid my head onto the pillow and slowly drifted to sleep till I heard the sound of someone screaming I jumped up and saw a girl named Lizzie staring at a plastic spider that was laid on her pillow. The head girl Daisey came over and picked it up as she comforted Lizzie calming her down. When Lizzie went to sleep she went into the other room and yelled at the boys. I just sighed and laid head back down on the pillow just staring up at the ceiling wondering if ember and jade had gotten their notes or if they even would come. I knew ember and lilac would but Jade had barely said anything to me that entire day so I supposed she wouldn't. I closed my eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep. I dreamt of wonderful things.
