When she awoke she found herself in an unfamiliar room, although she felt refreshed a sense of panic rushed through her when she started to remember her surroundings. She heard a groan from next to her as Mark started waking up. She looked down to see him resting on his chair. She didn't remember getting into bed, the last thing she remembered was finishing her tea as she sat talking to Mark about her and Harry's past.

"Ugh... Good morning, did you sleep well?" Mark said getting up from his chair and looking over to Rebecca as he rubbed his eyes of sleep.

"Mhmm yeah, best sleep I've had in ages, how'd I get into bed though? Last thing I remember I was sitting on the chair drinking tea and us chatting." She replied getting up and sitting on the bed. She glanced over at Mark with a quizzing stare.

"Oh um... "Mark stuttered looking down as he started to blush. He exhaled briefly before continuing.

"You looked uncomfortable so I carried you over and tucked you in, I'm sorry if that's not what you would've wanted.. It just you looked like you needed the sleep, and my chair isn't exactly that comfortable." Mark responded looking up again, the red glow slowly dropping from his face.

"Haha, I'm only kidding. Thank you for that though Mark, it means a lot to me. Someone is finally caring for me for once." Rebecca smiled. She ran over to him and hugged him tightly.

"Um.. That's ok." Mark replied in a squished tone as Rebecca hugged him tighter before letting go of him. He gasped softly before regaining his breath.

"I mean it, I needed that sleep. Heck I needed that talk as well, it's really cheered me up, so thanks." She smiled from ear to ear. He blushed softly back at her.

"Come on, let's go out and get some fresh air." Mark said, resting his hands on his lap as he started getting up.

Rebecca had a smile on her face, it was the biggest smile she had on in years. She and Mark had spent the day together, talking nonstop talking and laughing. They had walked around town and the park, finally arriving outside an ice cream van. She looked up at Mark with puppy dog eyes.

"Oh go on then, just stop looking at me like that... It's creepy." Mark said taking out his wallet and walking up to the ice cream van. He looked up at the ice cream man and bought two ice creams before giving him his money and passing one of the cones to Rebecca. She had a wide grin on her face as she hugged him, nearly knocking his cone out of his hand.

"Ugh ok, ok... It's ok, it's just an ice cream." Mark said trying to get out of Rebecca's hold as his cheeks slowly turned red in embarrassment as a couple of women walked passed smirking and chatting with each other. She let go of him and gleefully started eating her ice cream cone. Mark just stared at her with a smirk on his face as she got a load of ice cream over her face.

"What?" She said with a muffled reply, said still eating her ice cream. He just kept smiling as they walked home.

When they got to her door she smiled at Mark.

"Thanks for today, it's really made me feel better." She said, hugging him again.

"Ugh, that's ok.. Just hugging me so hard." He said squeezing out of her hold. She laughed shyly at him as she let go of him. He blushed softly, an embarrassed expression plastered on his face. She smiled back softly as she stepped up towards her door, subtle sign of sadness showing through her smile. She hugged him again briefly before waving goodbye to Mark as he walked down to his house next door. She let herself into the dark and silent house. After locking the door behind her she sighed softly, walking upstairs briskly before putting her belongings on her bed. She crashed down on her bed and looked up. She lay there for a moment as she felt a sharp pain in her lower back. Rebecca got up to check at what was causing her distress. She pulled what felt like a small rectangular box from behind her and stared at it briefly.

"I'll open it in the morning." She said to herself before falling asleep.

When she awoke the box was still in her hand. She stretched and rub her eyes before getting up off her bed and leaving the box on her bed as she walked towards her bathroom. When she walked back into her room, her mother was sitting on her bed with the box in her hands. Rebecca looked at her mum with a confused expression on her face.

"Why haven't you opened this yet?" Her mum questioned as she spun it around in her hands.

"Um, I was planning to thanks!" Rebecca grunted as she grabbed the box from her mum.

"Do you have any clue who sent it?" She questioned as she picked at the tape around the bottom of the box.

"No clue honey, are you going to open it?" Her mum patted the bed next to her for Rebecca to sit down.

"Ugh fine, I'll open it." Rebecca replied as she sat down and peeled the tape off the bottom of the package. She slowly opened it to reveal a small box. Being curious she opened the box up to find a small note and couple of images inside. She automatically knew it was from Harry and threw the box on the floor, spilling the photos everywhere. Her mother stared at her the mess on the floor and picked up the note. After a while she sighed softly and passed the note to Rebecca.

"I think you should read this, it might explain some things." Her mum said as she got up and left the room, closing the door behind her. Rebecca picked up the note and skimmed through it. Reading, she found out it was indeed from Harry. She read on to find that it was an apology and that it wasn't what it seemed, that the girl did it to hurt their relationship. She kept on reading his apology, skimming towards the onslaught of 'sorry's' and 'I love you's' that he had put in every sentence. She finally reached the end of the note, all it read was a date and location. The park at midnight, on that day. She put down the note and let off a long sigh.

Did she want to meet him, or would she remove him from her life. After the great day she had yesterday she wasn't sure, she completely forgot about him when she was with Mark. But did she still have feelings for Harry? She fell back onto her bed and closed her eyes, the thoughts rushing through her mind. She remembered meeting someone in the park, but for some reason it was hard to remember them. The face seemed like a blur, like a memory that wasn't all there. She closed her eyes, a small tear forming in the pits of her eyes. She shrugged it off and got up.

"You know what, I need a walk. Just to clear my mind." She said as she grabbed her MP3 player and earphones. She ran downstairs and reached her hand out to the handle of the door.

"You going out love? Make sure you're not out too long cos we have a guest coming at five." Her mum shouted from the kitchen.

"Yeah ok, will do." Rebecca shouted back as she placed her hand on the door handle and twisted it open. She walked out to a cool brisk summer's day. The sun shining down softly on the morning ground. She started walking, letting her feet lead her to wherever she wanted to go. She soon found out where her heart was leading her. She was right outside marks house, she was about to knock when something changed in her mind, she stood there with her fist ready to knock on the door, her mind telling her not to but her heart saying to do it. She lowered her fist and sighed, she turned around and started walking towards the forest. She placed her earphones in her ears and started walking along to the tune.
