When she awoke she found that Harry had left a note for her next to her pillow. She picked it up and read it. She gazed over the blue lettering intensely, inhaling every letter that he had written down. It said 'Meet me at the park around noon, I have something to say. Love Harry.' She stared at the last two words with glee in her eyes. She must have read it around twenty times before she snapped out of her trance-like state by the sound of her alarm. She closed the piece of paper and threw some smart clothes on before running downstairs. 'Hmm, I guess it's too early for them to be awake.' She thought to herself as she grabbed the milk from the fridge. She poured the milk over her cereal as a wave of nausea rushed through her she stumbled for a second spilling some milk onto the table. She sighed softly looking at it as she picked up a cloth and started mopping it up. 'I guess it's going to be one of those weeks again.' She thought as she sat down to eat her cereal.

She saw Harry sitting on their favourite bench holding a brown paper bag. She smiled at him as she walked over to him.

"Hey Becca, I have something to show you," Harry said motioning her to sit next to him. She sat next to him and hugged him.

"You got home safely then?" She sighed holding his arm.

"Yeah thanks, your dad gave me a lift home." He smiled softly, rustling the bag gently.

"So what's in the bag?" Rebecca said peering over his arm.

"Well this..." He said pulling out a big tub of ice cream. She made a small squealing noise as she saw it. "And these" He said pulling out a handful of photos. She gazed at the confusingly before she caught a glimpse of her younger face. She looked up at Harry with embarrassment as he smirked at her.

"Why? How did you even find these?" she said covering her face as her cheeks started to glow red.

"Well I was going through my room the other day just to tidy and I found these, thought you might like to see them." He said smiling at her.

She sat up straight and started looking through the pictures. Some she would cringe at, others she would hide her face of embarrassment at. When she finally got to the last photo she held back a tear, it was a family photo that he had taken with all her family in. But what really set her off was her aunt that was standing behind her. It was before she started to leave the house on her own. Rebecca curled into a ball and rested her head on Harry's lap as she hugged the photo. He brushed her hair softly and whispered into her ear.

"Sometimes we need to forget some of the bad things in life in order to move on. But whatever you go through in life makes you who you are. Whether it's a good or bad memory holding onto it makes you who you are. You learn from your past." She stopped crying and started to calm down, she wiped away the tears from her eyes and looked at Harry. He smiled back at her and held out his hand.

"Remember I'll always be here for you." He smiled as she put her hand on his. He kissed her hand softly and looked back into her eyes. A deep feeling of trust resonated from him. She felt he would always be by her side.

They both sat up after they had packed away the photos and she had eaten half the tub of ice cream. He started to walk her home. One of Harry's friends walked by before doing a double take.

"Dude why are you back dating her again? I thought last time when you said it was over you meant it was over?" The guy smirked at Rebecca as she looked at both the guy and Harry. She felt Harry squeeze her hand a little harder.

"Well for your information I made a mistake. I made lots of mistakes back then that I can't forgive myself for, and one was losing the most valuable person in my life. So I wanted to fix what I did wrong, I can never apologize enough for what I did but I can try and make new promises, and one of them is to never repeat what I did." Harry replied hugging Rebecca softly.

"Ha well whatever man, just don't come crying to me when she breaks your heart, or you break hers." He said walking off down the road. Rebecca and Harry waited there until the guy was out of sight.

"I wouldn't break your heart," Harry said looking down at her. 'You did it before' she thought to herself.

"I know you wouldn't." She said to him putting on a smile to mask her thought. They continued walking home exchanging small talk.

When they reached Rebecca's house they stopped outside it briefly. Rebecca sighed softly looking into Harry's eyes. "What's up?" he frowned looking at her soft face.

"Nothing... Why?" She replied, obvious sorrow showing in her eyes.

"Well you just seem unhappy, I just wanna know what's wrong because I care about you." He replied stroking her chin softly and smiling faintly at her. She sighed looking down at the ground, she waited a moment before looking back at him.

"Earlier when you said you would never repeat what you did or break promises, but you said that the first time." She replied, a saddened tone in her voice. He looked at her for a second before letting out a loud sigh. He looked solemnly at her.

"I know I said some things in the past that I did to hurt you, but when you are under stress and you forget who you were and how you use to be, you just lose sight of who you love. I just let my stress and pain cloud my vision of you and it made me forget who I was, and who I loved. I can't say I'm sorry enough and I don't even know if you believe me... But I need you to make me... Well, me again. So will you forgive me?" He said, his voice showing he was on the verge of tears. She looked at his hand for a moment, her eyes blurred the vision of his hand for a moment. She reached out and grabbed his hand. She looked into his eyes and smiles faintly before he embraced her. She stood there in his arms sobbing gently.

Rebecca sighed softly as she waved to harry. They had watched some films until the sun went down. They parted ways for the night. As she closed the door she felt a soft pain in her chest. She flopped down onto her bed and closed her eyes. She must have laid there for an hour or two before she got up. She sat up and looked into her hands. One thing that passed over her mind repeatedly. She remembered that Harry had cheated on her and had even left her for that girl, she never did get her name. But Harry had never said that he had dumped that girl. She pondered for longer before she slowly fell asleep, doubt and pain clouding her mind. She retreated to the happy place in her mind but even there the thoughts slowly seeped into her mind before she lost consciousness. The last thought she saw before she blacked out was the image of when Harry left her.
