RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are two types of bells.
There is the one you always dread that tells you that you are late. Then there is also the bell that is like sweet music to your ears. Yep you guessed it: the release bell. It was friday and school was out. It had seemed like forever. My gut feeling had been right.
I gather up my books off my desk and I turn to my friend Karen and ask her what shes doing later.
Karen replies," Um I don't know. I think Holden has to run a few errands but I'll text you later and tell you."
I say in return, "Oh ok. Cause I wanted to play tennis with you later........... If thats okay with you."
She paused for a moment before saying slowly," I'll think about it but I don't know if I want to play this weekend."
I was kind of taken by surprise because for the last month we would go and play tennis together every friday. I had been on the varsity tennis team. I was the youngest on there because I was the only seventh grader and seventh grade was the lowest grade you could try out for a varsity sport. Before I tried out Karen, honestly, had been a better player than me. But when I got to tryouts I expected to see her but she was nowhere. As it turns out she was to scared to do it.
I was about to reply but I heard my other friend, Victoria, Call out my name.
I yell back, "WHAT VICTORIA!?!?!?!?!?"
She replies, "I LOVE YOU CAT!!!!!!"
I sigh and say, " LOVE YOU TOO VICTORIA!!!!!!!!"
I head back to my homeroom and pack my stuff and happily leave school.
