I got to my room and slammed the door but forgot to lock it before gathering my stuff. Good thing I didn't unpack last night. I got together my stuff, like my pillow pet panda,Jeffrey , suitcase and my wallet. I quickly changed out of my pajamas and into some white shorts, blue t shirt and blue shoes. I just finished tying my shoes when someone knocks at the door. I opened it to find Percy standing outside. I opened the door wider and go finish collecting my stuff letting him walk inside.

"Nice room. You seem eager to go. " He said making me scoff.

"Well learning your mom has lied to you your whole life and someone playing the part as father will do that to someone. " I said harshly making his face scrunch in confusion.

"But most people wouldn't be as broken as you are, the most they would look is a combination of confused and angry. You look more of a combination of angry, confused, sad, hurt, and betrayal. " He said. Now it is my turn to look confused.

"You seem as if you know the feeling. " I said sitting on the bed, Percy quickly following my lead.

"Yeah. You could say my fatal flaw is personal loyalty, so if someone betrays me it breaks me on the inside." He said looking at his hands deep in thought.

"If you don't mind me asking. What happened?" I said making him sigh like he knew I was going to ask that.

"We will tell you that story on the way to camp" He said while getting up and walking out the door leaving me to grab all of my stuff and follow him. We entered the kitchen halting the conversation Annabeth and mom were having. I sigh in annoyance.

"Pearl, I know you never want to talk to me again but this is something your real father gave to me to give to you when you were ready." Mom said coming close enough to hand me a necklace with one pearl at the bottom. I roll the pearl in my fingers for a little bit before looking up at mom and nodding a thanks. She smiles because she knows that is some progress towards trusting her again.

"We better get going. Chiron is expecting us there by noon in two days." Annabeth said before grabbing one of my bags and heading out the door with Percy right behind her. Mom engulfs me in a hug causing me to go stiff. Once she lets go she hurries off towards the laundry room. I headed out the door having second thoughts but get in the car anyways with Percy driving and Annabeth sitting next to him.

"Camp sounds very dangerous! I mean a rock wall spewing lava. Why not just call it Camp Extremely Dangerous instead? I bet it would be more accurate then Camp Half Blood!" I exclaimed making Percy chuckle a little. Annabeth had just gotten done describing capture the flag and the lava rock wall. It sounded fun to be honest but scary at the same time. We had been in the car for about 2 days and they had already described the whole Greek god thing and the cabin arrangements but there was one thing they hadn't told me yet.

"Who are your godly parents?" I asked both of them.

"My mother is Athena, goddess of wisdom and battle strategy. It basically means I'm super smart." She said getting a nod from me in understanding.

"My dad is Poseidon, god of the sea and earthquakes. I can control water, breath under it, talk to underwater animals and horses and I think dad mentioned something about earthquakes." He said making me freeze. I have a brother. That is one more thing to add to the list of secrets people have kept. I hid my anger and shock and I smiled at him. We drove for about two more hours while talking about stuff like camp and what they think my parent could be before Percy stopped at a parking lot that was in the middle of nowhere. We all got out and walked up a hill that had a sign that said Delphi's Strawberries. When we got to the top we passed a dragon wrapped around a big pine tree, wait what. I did a double take making Percy laugh, I did indeed see a dragon. It looked up at me then resumed back to where it was. I looked across the valley,  it was gorgeous, better then how Annabeth described it! There was a big hill with a huge blue house sitting on top, the huge lava climbing wall,  tons of pretty different colored cabins, Pegasus flying around everywhere, and the best part, a big blue sparkling lake in the distance. I followed Percy and Annabeth to the big blue house while ignoring the stares and whispers of campers passing by. When we got there, two boys were waiting out side on the porch that wrapped around the perimeter of the house. One of them had furry legs I'm guessing a satyr. While Annabeth was describing everything about camp, I was surprised I stayed awake the whole time and actually payed attention. The other boy had black messy hair, black clothing that was ripped and torn and looked like he hadn't slept in days.

"Nico! What happened?" Percy asked looking worried. This must be one of his friends.

"I went on a quest for my dad and I wanted to say hi to you guys before I spend the rest of my day in my cabin sleeping." Nico said rubbing his eyes a little. He honestly looked miserable.

"Go to sleep. " Percy ordered sternly placing his hands on his sides.

"But-" Nico started.

"No! Nico De Angelo go to bed! We will catch up tomorrow morning." Percy said which he probably does not use that voice very much because everyone looked surprised. Even I was surprised at his tone and I've known him for almost 2 days.

"Fine! " Nico grumbled. He turned to me and smiled just enough so you could see the tips of his mouth curve up."Nico De Angelo. Welcome to Camp Half Blood! I'll introduce myself once Percy lets me off of house arrest."

"Pearl Jackson. Thanks!" I said before Percy shoved Nico towards the cabin in all black with a couple gems on the side. I turned to look and Annabeth and the satyr who looked shocked. I'm willing to bet Nico is not as friendly as he just was to me.
