Shut up and Write

As the words
Fall out of my mouth
No one hears a thing
As the words
Sprawl out on the page
They hide from the world
Thoughts spoken out
Have no meaning
Thoughts written down
Are ignored
Deeper meaning is never searched for
Though Metaphors are seen as powerful
And Similes as accurate
The one behind the words
Screams out for help
Through a delicate lyric
And no one sees past the beauty
