Chapter 6

*Ty's POV*

As we sat down in out seats I let Jade take the window seat. As she put on her seat belt I put our carry on above us. I then sat down next to her and put the seat belt on.

Jade was looking out the window and pointed at how she could see the people waiting to board. I slipped my phone into my pocket just as the captain on the speaker played the safety information video.

"Dad?" I heard Jade ask

"Yes?" I asked

"How long is this flight going to be?" She she looking up at me.

"Pretty long flight so we should be able to sleep for a few hours." I responded.

Once the video ended Jade starred out the window as the plane started to move forward.

"Daddy?" she asked again

"Mmhm?" I said

"Why aren't we flying?" she asked

"It's because we need to get a lot of speed before actually getting in the air." I said

"Ohhh." she said sticking her face onto the window.

Once we started feeling turbulence as we got up in the air she gripped my hand scared.

I smiled," It's alright Jade we are flying now." I pointed out the window.

She looked back out the window amazed and said,"Wow."

I chuckled and turned my attention to the captain speaking,"This is your captain speaking you can now use your phones etc."

I pulled out my phone and texted Seto.

'Hey just wanted to let you know that we are on our way right now.'

'Ok thanks for checking in with me. Also it wouldn't hurt to hurry...'

'Why what happened? something happened tell me.'

'It's nothing just saying it wouldn't hurt'

'ok....'

'anyways have a safe flight'

'Thanks bye.'

I decided to turn my phone back off and just relax.

Night Time

It was getting late and the lights in the plane were dimmed. I was watching a movie on the little TV. I felt Jade shift uncomfortably from my arm waking up. I unplugged my earphones and looked at her.

"Have a bad dream?" I asked

"No just can't sleep." she said

"Yeah I know the feeling all too well." I said.

She sat up straight and I handed her a pair of earphones to watch the movie.

She plugged them in and watched the movie with me.

After a few minutes I tapped on Jade's shoulder.

"Yeah?" she asked

"I'm gonna go use the bathroom I'll be back in a few."

"Ok dad." she said smiling.

I unbuckled the seat belt and walked across the pathway to the bathroom.

As I got in I locked the door and splashed water on my face. I dried off my face as I heard the pilot's voice through the speaker saying,"Everyone please sit down, buckle up and prepare for impact!"

I dropped the paper towel and opened the door. The lights were on along with the emergency ones. All you could hear was screams and crying. But among all the noise I heard a familiar voice.

"DAD!!! DADDY!!!!"

It was Jade. I ran across the aisle yelling, "JADE!! JADE!!!"

As soon as I got to her I saw her standing up and crying. I hugged her and said, "Daddy's here. Daddy's got you."

I buckled her in tight. At that

Moment the other plane ran straight through us with such a great force taking all of the people's seats in front of us away creating a giant hole as we fell towards earth. I held on for dear life at my seat for I was unbuckled.

"DAD!!! NO DADDY!!!" Jade yelled.

As we got closer towards falling I closed my eyes. The last words

I heard were Jade's yelling," DA-!"

All I saw was darkness...
