Chapter 12

*Jade's POV*

-next day-

I woke up to birds chirping. The sun shinning in through the window and the bluest sky I've ever seen. People walking happily outside. What a crappy day.

(THATS LEGIT ME XD)

I groaned as I rubbed my eyes. I sat up in the hospital bed. I knew I was going to be be able to leave today but I just didn't feel like doing anything. I just wanted to lay down and do nothing. My door opened as Andrea walked in.

"Hey it's a nice day out huh?" she asked

"I guess." I responded

"We'll your getting out today and we can get what we need to get done finished already." she said

"Yeah but Seto said he hadn't seen the flower in like forever. So can we find it."I stated sadly

"We'll I'm not no Seto but I'm me. I clearly remember how it looks it's just that I have feeling that the person who used to have the flower gave it to a bad person.." she said not as perky as before.

"Ok and if that ba-" I was cut off by the doctor walking into my room smiling at me.

(I just can't help but wanna ADD doctor who into this BUT lol I've already got this planned xD ok ok carry on peoples)

He picked up my clip board from the side of my bed and sat down next to me. He stared at the monitors blankly then looked at me.

"Ok so your all vitals are good and you seemed to have recovered pretty fast so you are able to leave today." he said scribbling words on a paper and handing it to me.

"Just give this to the receptionists and your good." he told me and pat my head. He walked out probably to check on another patient.

I handed Andrea the note as the nurse walks in and began to help me with the needles and sitting me into a wheel chair.

"Can't I walk?" I asked pouting

"Not today your only able to be wheeled out today but tomorrow if you feel strong enough you can walk." She said

Andrea pushed me through the hallways into elevators all the way to the front desk. Andrea handed her the note and she typed things on her computer. Once she was done she said,"ok your all set be good now bye!"

Andrea pushed me out into the world. It was bright out. I hadn't experienced this must heat or brightness because I had been in a air conditioned room for such a long while.

Andrea pushed me all the way to her car. Once we got there she picked me up and put me in the back seat and folded the wheel chair placing it next to me. She sat in the drivers seat and

We drove off.

~ Le time skip hour ~

I had only been in the car for an hour but it felt like longer. Andrea began to slow down. I looked out the window. We weren't even driving on a road anymore. She slowed down more as a house came into view. A small one story house that blended into the mountain.

"Jade welcome to my home,"she said a bit happier than I ever will be.

I smiled on the inside. I was happier that we were closer to get my dad back. But still sad that I would never see my other dad ever again..I smiled on the inside again. This might just work out.
